My name is Daniel McGarrigle. I am interested in starting an eco friendly, luxury, bus line. I plan to have the buses eventually run throughout the country, but my intent is to start in select cities. These buses, Much like Greyhound, will offer travel across the country to various destinations. These buses, not only will be eco friendly, but will offer on board entertainment and movies, spacious seating arrangments, lavatory facilities, galley with a planned En Route meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Snacks and drinks will be served for additional fees throughout the trip. The idea is to bring the luxury back to road travel. Meals will be prepared off site and served in the traditional airline fashion, via service cart. Each bus will have a driver and an attendant for each trip. The tickets will reflect the service provided, but the real benefit is the bio diesel buses, and the solar charging system for the vehicle's battery system. So, not only a luxurious way to travel, but a enviornmentally responcible way to travel. Unfortunetly, the idea is there, but the start up capital is not. I can get started for as little as 50k and grow from there, but of course I invision a grand start up which would be more likely to cost into 300k-500k. In addition to converting these boheimoths into veggie, I also plan to recycle already used, but in good condition buses. Thus keeping the start up costs low. If you would like to help me...
