    Looking for a start

I am brand new to this forum. This may sound totally absurd...stupid...and anything else that you might call it! I have been trying for quite sometime to get an on line business started, but I don't know anything about it. So far I have been lied to and stolen from. My wife has threatened me within an inch of my life if I spend another dime on trying to get a business started.

What I want to do is to partner with someone that knows what they are doing and that the first thing that they ask me for is not a credit card number! I want desperately to get a business going for a number of reasons. Number one, I am currently in the mortgage business and business isn't too good these days, so I need to produce some income. Number two, I know a lot of people out here that are hurting financially and I really want to find a way to not only help me...but also to help them.

I am willing to have my attorney draft a contract with a business partner. I will split the proceeds of an on line business 50-50 for as long as I do the business, if someone will just show me what to do and will not ask me to spend ANY MONEY up front! I don't have a problem paying once we start making something...just not in advance. As far as I am concerned, this is a no-brainer! Free money forever for being the teacher!

Any takers? I m as serious as a heart attack! I want to make a great deal of money! Do you? Lets do it together!

What are your hobbies? How much time do you have to invest? What's your education history and/or what are a few skills you have?

    Thanks

My hobbies are largely outdoors related...archery, hunting, fishing, golfing. My time that I have available to invest is only limited by my own initiative. I am in the mortgage business and I write my own schedule. I can work from my home or from my office. I would say conservatively, 10 hours per week to as much as 2o hours or more if I can justify it.

Education-wise, I opted to go in the service rather than college, so I have a high school diploma and various accredited courses. My experience level lies largely in sales and marketing, with experience in everything from a military recruiter during Viet Nam to retail sales, to spending the past 15+ years in the mortgage banking industry.

My strengths would be the fact that I have an excellent work ethic and I am not afraid of speaking to people. I have an excellent speaking voice and very good grammar. I am able to speak to the truck driver or to the physician comfortably.

You know, when I got onto this forum, I rather hoped that it was about people offering help and advice to other people. In a few days, I had one person ask a few questions...and then nothing. Not real impressive. I guess I will seek answers elsewhere. Thanks for nothing!

    Glen,

Sorry you didn't have a good experience with this forum. Meh, some days are good, some are bad. Maybe you hit a dry spell. I don't check as much as I want to, but I saw your post and wanted you to know that there are people who read.

I hear you loud and clear on the "pay-up-front" part... I hate paying. Lol. If you can shoot me an email at simplyfreegas@gmail.com I will show you the site that I am working on.

I don't have real experience that you are looking for, but I will give you some advice. VERY FEW people have a legitimate interest in helping other people in terms of business. Most will find the flaws of your idea and use that to bring you down vs the potential of the idea. I'm learning what advice to take, and what to take with a grain of salt.

Anyway, I hope you have better experiences on the forum but if not I'm always available!

    Richard
