Thumbs up Looking for $1,500 investment - 40% equity. Website nearly developed!

    Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to view this request. I have a website which has been nearly fully developed - it is completely custom, including a custom admin system created to manage the backsystem.

We need the funds because we can't fully complete the transaction until we have raised the full amount of the building costs - this was more than anticipated

What will you be investing in?

    -A great brandable domain name

-.com extension, and the .net is purchased for redirection.

-Wonderful idea following one of the latest market crazes

-Beautiful site design, including logos and custom scripts

-NOTHING else like it on the market whatsoever - you are investing in ORIGINALITY

-A professional and excellent marketer (myself).

    What are the terms?

-For a $1,500 investment, you will receive 40% equity.

-Once the $1,500 is repaid to you, this will reduce to a 10% equity - this is negotiable depending on the amount of work/skill you can bring to the table.

-For the first 45 days, the site will be running its promotion and therefore will not take in any profit, from there on we will place our full revenue structure in place, and our memberbase will already be there.

One again, I would like to thank you for looking at this advert.

If you're interested, please PM me your e-mail or skype and we can begin some conversations.

Don't pass up this opportunity, we are a professional UK based business that are in it for the long run, and we would like to expand into a multi-million dollar company.

    Many thanks.

Can you be more specific where to you use those funds? $1500 is less than 1000 pounds, not much money in UK...

    Hi there,

Of course, sorry I didn't make it clearer earlier! The website has been built, but not to my budget, I have raised a large amount of the money myself, but require a further $1500 to purchase the website in itself, including all custom design, rights etc.

Yeah, it's not alot, which is why I would like 30% equity back after the initial $1,500 is paid off.

I'm in the UK, but thought using $ might be more universal.

    Thanks!

You mean the investment isn't for orangify itself? It's for another website purchase?

Do I understand you correctly that you would like to buy others (designers, domain name, etc) out from this business and for that you need $1500 and looking for another investor to give it for you? Better take a bank loan then.

    Hi,

Spliff, that's correct - Orangify.com has nothing to do with it.

"Do I understand you correctly that you would like to buy others (designers, domain name, etc) out from this business and for that you need $1500 and looking for another investor to give it for you? Better take a bank loan then. " - Hi, that's not correct. I just need the remaining $1500 to take full control of a website design. I have already raised a large sum, as it's not a cheap project and don't have the ability to take out another bank loan.

Akula, it's not that simple - i've already saved up a large amount and as a student I don't earn substantial amounts.

    Thanks

I'm interested in knowing how you will make your money in the future. It isn't all that easy to make money online. What is your future revenue source going to be?

How much money have you made online so far? With your other web assets?

Hi, my other asset Orangify.com is a non-profit business. I do it for the traffic etc.

Can you please explain listing fees? I like your site and I really like your traffic stream. I'm just trying to figure out how to tweak your pitch to get you the money you need.

    Hi,

Oh, Orangify.com has nothing to do with the investment, that's a non-profit site of mine purely for the traffic.

The site I want investment for will make money through commission and listing fees.

    Thanks

I don't understand this deal. 40% equity for $1500, but once you pay back the $1500 your equity is reduced to 10%? It seems like what you're asking for is an interest free loan for $1500, and once you pay it back then your investor will start making money?? Can you please explain how this will work as I probably have the details wrong here.

UPDATE: I only need $1,000 now, I have raised another $500

    Hi there,

Spliff - Yes, they will receive 40% of the profits until such time that they earn $1,000, when their equity will be reduced to 10%. The reason for this is that $1,000 really isnt alot of money to invest in a site and keep 40%, so I thought it was only fair to drop 30% and keep 10% of the profits from thereon.

Especially as I feel that this website can make a large amount of money.
