You state you have everything in place but can't proceed without a partner.
Why do you need this partner?
I am getting ready to launch a new Internet business that I conceived of a year and a half ago. At the time I sought and found a partner (creative, not financial) who backed out early on. I dropped the whole project thinking I could never do it alone. But I kept reading about other founders of successful sites that all advised the same thing...just do it. If you wait until everything is perfectly in place, it will never happen.
So I took that leap of faith and will go live soon.
If on the other hand your need for a partner is financial, then you don't actually have everything in place. Having the means financially to pull off a new business venture should be one of the first things you take care of. I would think that a computer repair business wouldn't need a huge cash infusion unless you are talking brick and mortar. In that case I would advise scaling back to work from home until you have your finances in order.
