Hi everyone, I'm a bit of a web/media guy however I recently spotted an opportunity in the logistics business. I have been looking in this area as I have heard it is quite profitable.
There are currently 3 bread run contracts available in my local area and the contracts pay $130,000 per year each (3 year contract). The only requirement to obtain one of these contracts is a suitable 3.5 tonne truck(which you can pick up used for around $24,000) and necessary truck driving license.
My idea was to purchase the truck, find a truck driver willing to work the required 6 hours per day, 5-6 days per week, pay them $45,000 per annum leaving $85,000 of gross profit per year (minus fuel expenses of approx $15,000 p.a so net of $60,000).
I have enough capital to purchase a single truck but wondered if anyone was interested in investing capital to buy 2 or 3 and get several contracts going. 2 or 3 normally pop up every week.
I'm from Australia, so it would work best if you were a local.
Cheers
