    Liquid Cooled Laptops

I have been working on a state of the art universal laptop cooling system that uses Thermal Electric and Liquid Cooling. I am looking for an investor to help me put this technology onto the market.

As laptops start to get more powerful and as portable desktop replacements become more popular, cooling becomes a serious issue.

If anyone is interested, feel free to contact me for more information.

It's already been done. Alienware or someone did it before, i forget who, and they had a hell of a time with all of the leaks that customers were complaining about. Also, processors have come a long way in reducing their temps. Contrary to your argument, they are actually becoming cooler as newer technologies become available, not hotter.

I plan to use Stopaq for the leak proofing

If you can drive the costs down and can prevent leaks it might be worth it. Good luck.

I have access to materials that are biologically self sealing leak proofing material when there is cracks/breaks/holes.

I have been building international relations with various laptop manufacturers in Taiwan, I will be having the custom laptop mass produced there once i get a working prototype done. I still need to secure an investment to buy the hardware and manufacture the cooling system. So if anyone is interested, feel free to let me know. Just to clarify, I have access to technology for a self sealing corrosion protection system that was developed for the oilfield but can be adapted for use in computers. So I could make the laptop able to self seal if the cooling system sprung a leak (it seals very fast)

A watercooled laptop is there a demand for it ??? i have been scratching my head over this one for sometime and i cannot see what you would gain over normal methods of heat disposal,i would have said yes it was a good idea a few years back but as the main suppliers of the processors are increasing the speeds of these they are also reducing the heat aspect.
We run 3 laptops in our office and these are on maybe 10-12 hours a day but we have stand that they sit on which has 2 fans that blow cold air under the laptop and these work very well and the main thing is they are very cheap as they use the normal case fans which are found in all home computer hence they are very cheap to produce but to produce a watercooled system must be alot more to produce that a couple of fans this setup address's the time that computers are used at home but then when mobile i can see the problem being the battery power to drive this system or prehaps that is not how it works.
I see in the future as we move over to ssd instead of normal mechanical disks and processors are getting cooler this watercooled system being short lived and maybe more suited to business computers.

The gaming and high performance laptops still have serious heat issues.

i think it has some pottential.. laptops do tend to heat up realy badly and sometime if laptop is running full time it will slowly melt the components making the laptop hae sort life span... also i dont think laptops have liquid cooling only desktops could have liquid cooling..

one questions concerns is that the batery life of a laptop is not powerful and having liquid cooling will cause the laptop power to die realy fast.

I am going to be using Nickel-Hydrogen 12 cell batteries.

I don't see what the problem is here, other than the pump. Liquid cooled systems still need a fan or fans to cool the liquid as it goes through the radiator. Other than perhaps 20watts for a pump all power consumption would stay the same (you would only need a small pump that uses up about as much power as the intel atom processor..). But honestly the only benefit I see is the ability to overclock the processor, but once again, then the battery issue comes into play. The higher the CPU clock the more power it consumes. I don't don't see a future or very large market for it.

Is that a unique case or do you just plan on rebranding it?

That case is a Custom Designed original case from Style-Note that is slightly thicker than conventional laptops to allow for better cooling systems. The material is carbon fiber to reduce the weight.
