Is it possible to have a business partner in another country?

Hi!

I wanted to know if anyone has ever had a business partner living in another country working together to start up a business? probably a web based business.

Is it a good or a bad idea?

I think it is completely possible to have a business partner who lives in another country and is actually becoming more and more common these days. The internet is so flexible and expansive nowadays working across borders and boundaries is almost seamless now. I actually find there are a lot of extra benefits working with people from other countries. People from different cultures have a lot to offer each other and the unique perspectives and insights you can gain from these types of business relationships and experiences is invaluable. I would highly encourage anyone to broaden their business horizons and be open to working with people from all over the world.

Yes it is absolutely common in these day. You live in other country or do business with another country. I think its call as a outsourcing. Now a days it is very common because so many company work as the same structure.

why would you need partner in web business from another country? Its always more convenient to have him in your country. Its not import export where you would need to have foreign partners.

I'm looking for a business partner that lives in a different country to start a web site, mainly because i think it would be interesting and it would offer a new insight and perspective on the market and things in general.
