Investor or Partner for Million $$ Invention

I'm looking for Partner(s) and/or Investors for my Million $$ Invention

I'm currently working on a detailed business plan, but I wanted to post now to get pre-interest and begin networking.
I'm new to writing business plans, so please be patient with me .. I should have it ready before the months end. Meanwhile I can answer all inquiries and talk more in-depth with serious investors.

My invention works directly & functionally with the clothing industry. This product is desperately needed for ages 5-55+ . I need it greatly and am eager to get some prototypes manufactured to use, as well as market, etc.

Without revealing pertinent information, I can say that this invention:

• Is stylish as well as functional.
• Solves a problem that the entire world faces daily with their attire.
• Can be marketed to audiences mainly ages 5-55 , but ages outside this age range can use this as well. To both Males & Females. All around the World! Nearly every Audience! $$$
• Major market to Skateboarders, Hip Hop/Urban audience, Males, and more.
• Is not just a one time purchase by the consumer, but continued purchase, just as other attire. This means continued profits. $$$
• Will easily be picked up by all major Clothing, Footwear stores, not to mention Skateboard stores, discount stores(Wal-mart, K-mart, etc)...
• Takes pennies to make and can be realistically sold for $19.95 +-

Believe me, I am not hyping this up or B.S.ing , I am Very Serious and I want to talk with only Serious Investors and those who would seriously like to talk further and/or consider talking about partnering with me.

I know many of you will be highly interested, and this has the potential to make us MILLIONS , honestly!!
If you simply want to invest, I will need a little time to come to the exact amount of investment I would need. But a roughly estimated figure would be around $20,000.

I came to that estimate by the below needs:

• Non Provisional Patent - $5000 +- (Depending on attorney)
• Prototype manufacturing - $5000 +-
• Marketing campaign - $5000 +-
• Travel Expenses - $5000 +-

I see that a major market is skateboarders. Is it a new helmet? Or knee pads maybe?!

No it isn't anything to do with safety, well at least not directly such as a helmet or knee pads. I suppose it would be a helpful accessory and could be marketed as such as well.
I wish I could reveal this on the forum .. I know everyone will say "why didnt I think of that?" , the need is right in front of everyone's eyes. I can almost guarantee that you could use this and would want to.
I cant express how excited I am, and have been.. I first conceived of this idea 8 or so years ago, and put it on the back burner a little while doing market research and visual research everywhere I went. 8 out of 10 people I saw needed this product.

No, its not shoes. The reason I can't give more information is that my protection is a provisional application for patent (Patent Pending status) and I havent had a lawyer review this yet and I still have concerns about complete protection, etc.

Well, I need an attorney to address some of my protection-related concerns.
Or after I talk with a serious investor who signs a disclosure agreement, etc.

You know, we all have to be careful these days. But my excitement is killing me, and I want to tell the world, but I cant. Like I said above, I almost guarantee that you guys can and will want to use this. Whether you're athletic or not, no matter what style you're into.

My two cents in this matter would be to have everything straightened out by an attourney. Get all your questions answered and the patent worked out so no issues of security on this idea are breached. Then either do private disclosure agreements or release a design/general idea in a full business plan either to private parties or to the forum in general and then evaluate investors, as well as their credability, from there.

I don't think anyone will say they are interested until they hear what the product actually is. Your rough product description above certainly lends to a lot of pre-hype and looks juicy to the investors but until someone knows what the product is, or at least the general realm and/or predecessor product which yours made improvements on, no one will invest. Hope this helps...this is my first post.

Wow, connections in the manufacturing industry, and even comes with his own NDA... Someone's trying too hard!! Lol, just kidding.

Seriously though, have you considered Prosper.com? The amount of funding that you are requesting isn't out of their reach. On another level, you should work on your pitch. To be honesty, you come across as being young and needy, with stars in your eyes. I would recommend talking things over with a consultant to make sure that your idea is as viable as you make it out to be. As far as everything else goes, don't give out your idea to just anyone. Always use an NDA, but make sure that the NDA covers every aspect of what may happen. Without a patent, you have no way to show that the idea was truly yours to begin with. Not to be a pessimist, but there are way too many snakes out there, looking for the next 'big thing'.

Anyhow, I have a provisional application for patent through legalzoom , and I have patent pending status, but I did not order an attorney review so I am still concerned, but I am willing to disclose the complete information to any serious investors or persons who are serious about partnering with me, and Sign a Non-Disclosure document... Which is Free to do, and Quick, so potentially you all could know the information IF I believe you are serious and you Sign!

I definately am not young, or needy.. but I do KNOW that this idea is more than profitable and able to be marketed to death.
.. I don't have stars in my eyes, they're DOLLAR SIGNS!
