Targeted PPC campaigns can pay good, if its good traffic. This is why Google Adwords does so well if your campaign is setup right. Yahoo/MSN is garbage, you can spend $100 on Google adwords and if you're selling a product that is desirable, you will get sales. Not so with MSN/Yahoo.. The traffic is inherently bad. Probably because the people who use yahoo/msn don't... *insert derogatory comment about yahoo/msn people*
Anyway, I think a gaming PPC advertising company will be a huge success. Why? We are targeted! We target gaming communities. We have an easy foot-in and once were on their site, we get 30% of ad income.
The major thing is combating click-fraud. Since we are a small business, this will be very easy. Fraudulent traffic for the most part is very easy to detect.
Income potential? Millions? A lot. Trust me. Are you interested? I am not sure how much this project will cost, but i've got atleast one coder who is sold on the project and he will work for free as long as he gets a share of the business. I will more people were as far-sighted as he is.
If you like the idea, and want a % of the business, and if you have something to offer other than money (like you're good at talking people into joining our network) then I want you. Please don't contact me if you aren't willing to invest atleast $10,000 into this project. PM me and lets negotiate and start a crazy cool business together that just might make us millionaires.. but ATLEAST it is a very viable business. Advertising can be grunt work.. IE: you and I or just I.. or just YOU knocking on gaming website doors and telling them "that spot on the left above the adsense ad looks like a great place for our ad.. did I mention we pay more than adsense?! and were gamers like you.. etc etc etc!
