We are looking to purchase a transportation company in Michigan just north of Grand Rapids. We have 30+ years expirence in the industry and this compnay has been in business for 15 years with the current owner been in the industry for 40+ years. We have the work to possibly double within a year. We would start a hub in Illinois but have our headquarters in Michigan. We have just about everything ready to go except for funding. Our offer has already been accepted by the owner but have to put in the official offer. He is willing to stay on for as long as I need him to. We need 200k and that would be used for the purchase of the company and working capital. We have personally inspected the equipment and it is in good condition and the approximately valued at 295k not including the office equipment, extra parts, etc... Instead of purchasing the company as stated above we have also played with the idea of starting one since we do have work for trucks we just need the means of moving the frieght.
