Cool International Recycling Business- Biz partner.

Are you interested in recycling on a major scale? I am a sourcing agent currently working in scrap metal brokering. I am direct to one of the largest buyers for various types of scrap metal for the Chinese market. They are also very diverse in their product line so this opens up doors for additional waste products such as textiles. plastics and paper products. Recently I was approached by a new company that connects industrial and manufacturing companies with buyers for their scrap or waste products in order to keep huge amounts of usable bi-products from going to a landfill somewhere. Voted one of the top 100 new businesses by Entrepreneur Magazine. This is a huge market world wide but you can do it from your home as I do.

I'm looking for someone that wants to start a business that won't break the bank and has virtually no overhead. Not only can you make a very nice income but you are doing something good by going green and helping to free up stuff that would go to a landfill that shouldn't be there in the first place.

Did I mention that once you learn to be a broker or buyer you will travel to all kinds of cool places around the world. The work is dirty but the places your going too are not. This is truly an international business and one of the oldest. Just in the U.S. alone the scrap metal business is over $80 Billion a year.

Thanks for the post. Some years ago - back in the 1990s - I heard that the commodities exchanges were thinking about creating future contracts for recycled material - thus, these securities and the underlying material could be traded freely in liquid markets. Do you know if this happened? Maybe it could help you with your business.

phanio thanks for the comment. Yes some recyclables are tied to an index, mainly non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminum etc. I deal only in the physical aspect not financial or paper. Most if not all the products I'm working with are materials on hand. I just hook up the buyers with the sellers.
