    Interesting Proposition...

    Good Afternoon!
Unlike other threads in this forum, I am not looking for someone to pour thousands into my project.
As I do not want to give too much information away, the site in question will be a Text Based RPG (Role Playing Game) with cash prizes.
This will be coded in PHP with MySQL databases.
Having worked on a similar game for the past six months, watching it grow from a few concepts, the site has become very profitable, and has given enough of an insight as to being able to create my own.
Predominately, I am looking for a partner who is fluent in PHP and MySQL. As I am the artist, there will be no shortage of graphics for the game.
If you are not a programmer, but still interesting in this project, which has turned from a loved hobby into a perspective business, and would like to invest and partner with myself, I would be happy to listen...

In regards to my knowledge of owning a company, I have previously built up a tutorial site and sold it on SitePoint making around $5000, and also supply software to schools in my local area, so I am not short on that entrepreneurial spark.
I do have detailed specifications for the game, so you will not be thrown in at the deep end.

Please also note, all profits would be shared equally, with a written contract signed between both parties.

Let me know, and I am sure we can come to some sort of arrangement.
    Regards,
    Patrick.

I applaud you for looking for a partner before looking for financing. My opinion has always been that it is much better to get together a startup team and then look for capital if you need it.

    Good luck with your venture!

    Hi Patrick!

I am very interested in your proposition, also a fan of MUD's, I am able to develop using PHP, ANSI SQL and Java among other languages, but they are the main ones I feel confident in.

feel free to email me so we can discuss this further.
