Welcome to YE, but I don't believe that this is the place for what you're looking for. This site is for YoungEntrepreneurs. If you can work your concept around to being a business (for example, a Forex Consulting firm for Young Investors), then it may work.

Otherwise, no one is going to fund a poor student with a mediocre ROI and no legitimate experience to speak of.

    pmjn87, no
it's not possible for you to operate a legitimate business because you wanna provide financial services without the required licence...you need to understand that it is illegal for you to manage money for other people without you having the appropriate finra accreditation, sec compliance and the relevant insurance

now...you might think "fuck thaaaat! i don't need nothing" ..but let me tell you how it works...without a licence, any agreements that you make with customers relevant to the provision of financial services will be void ab initio...meaning that when you're gonna lose people money, they're gonna be able to lawfully claim the losses back from you, and you won't have a legitimate defence against their claims

now, here's what you do: if you wanna do this stuff legally, without the need for any licences and such, here's what you do: advertise that you want to borrow money as a personal loan and pay back a really high rate of interest. then, people will lend you money, you'll do your miraculous 300%+ p.a. rate of return and then pay them back like 30% in interest or something...that's how you can do this legally and avoid taking a bath

...there are also other things you'll need to do to cover the eventually of you borrowing money, blowing it all and defaulting on your interest repayments

hello very true and right but since he trading forex there no required licence that's why you see so many scams on TV intro late night there no required licence there no finra nothing at all right now , i think there should be but if you really wanted too you can wake up and open small website and become a forex broker. there no rules or licence

but if he was trading stocks and wanted to mange money for people that aren't friends or family . he would need licence and what not.

but your right in some ways

    cheers

    Mr Wallstreet-

The laws regarding licensing still apply to Forex trading if pmjn87 is wanting to market his 'services' in the manner that he has in this post.

Akula is completely correct in his explanation, except that I doubt anyone would give a loan to a teenager promising them a 300% ROI.

Haha you are confusing Akula's example with what he said, he said he earns 1% ROI, Akula just made an example that he could offer 300% return on loans.
