I need an investor for start up!

Hi there,

I am after an investor to aid me to start up a business in mobile application development.

I am based in the uk and would suite a investor from uk however I am open to other investors from different country's.

I would be offering 40% equity in the company for any investor, I would like the investor to be hands on but if not I am still willing to work with.

Investment needed between £0 - 5000

Hi Kirk,

Business model is too create iPhone and iPad applications both paid and free. Paid applications of course gain income from being purchased and maybe incorporate some ads depending on type of application. Free applications will downloaded with ads to gain commission from ad clicks sort of like google adsense.

I will be outsourcing coding for applications but marketing and websites will be done by me at this current time once business is making comfortable profit I will be looking outsource everything and just oversee things and have final say etc.

Hello Jamie,

This business is still at the 'idea' stage? What kind of apps are you planning on charging for?

I have business acquaintances that have created apps for iphones. It is a tough industry to make money from. Where are you getting the numbers for your forecast sales from?

My sales forecast is fantasy at the moment as the business is still at the inception stage, however I believe no matter what type of application you create if the marketing is right the targeted traffic comes flooding I aim to make the most of the Internet and search engines incorporating affiliate marketing methods to gain lots of buzz and the apps should sell themselves.

Initially I will be aiming for simple but addictive games, cost little to make and and small purchase fee but the volume of downloads will pay for app development plus extra within the first week of being on iTunes.

After a few games have been developed and on iTunes I will be looking to develop some utility apps to help customers, in the process of developing ideas for these utility applications I intend create a online campagin asking people what they want to gain customers prospective and also use it to gain marketing addresses so that on completion I have a launch and include everyone who participated .

You seem very down-to-earth, when you say that you understand your 'forecasts are fantasy at the moment.'

You must also understand that this is the success theory that everyone has "...if the marketing is right the targeted traffic comes flooding...."

That is a loaded statement, and mastering that is the goal of every entrepreneur on the internet. And the theory behind every business in the world!

But, I like the idea of being in partnership with someone that has this knowledge. I think you have a good game-plan, and although is based on 'fantasy' . . .which the wheel, the internet, and facebook (good movie) was all based on.... all ventures start from some where.

I would like to hear what you have proposed for a business partner. I would offer $$ for a % of sales. This is where we really find out how down-to-earth you are.

Money for a percentage of sales, hmmm. Is this the percentage of all future sales of iPhone apps?
