I may be on to something !

I started a new company that i believe has a place in todays fast pace world.Without giving the readers digest version here goes.I need to raise some capital for a add campaign. My company will go to the home or office of a customer to pick-up there car for repair. We have set up a network of approximately 15 repair shops in the Boston area that we will take the car to for repair. We offer free pick-up and return on the repaired car and also make available a free loaner car.My website is Automotive Services of Boston Homepage if anyone would like to take a peak.Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.thank you in advance.

hmmm, seems like getting insurance for that business would be pretty expensive. what happens if you wreck someone's car?

I think it is a great service that is needed. How is the market need for a service like that in Boston though? I'm curious to know what obstacles you have had to overcome in Boston (because I'm assuming you've had a lot?)

I liked the site. My only suggestion is to continually stress the bonded, insured and to explain bonded because most people don't know what that entails. I would think that with a service like yours, one problem you will always face is that people will find it hard to hand over their cars. So I would give them something (maybe a brochure or something) that states what happens in case of a car being stolen, destroyed, etc. I think this needs to be plastered on your website and given initially to prospective clients to calm their fears.

I'm rooting for you because I absolutely love this service!!

I love it too; great concept Joe!

For recommendations, I agree with Isaac, that you need to have something a little more "client tuned". Also, for whatever it's worth, the site is pretty busy when it comes to the navigation.

Lastly, for furture features, perhaps think about adding a client access page (with login) that has RealTime updates. Perhaps adding a live webcam capability will soothe the fears of clients as well.

Overall great work putting this concept into the marketplace - make sure you have a super group of advisors cheers!

Decent idea... I think before you go looking for money to run ads you are going to need to show people you have all the needed insurance as a previous poster has said. You'll also need a marketing plan. How much are you looking to spend on ads, where will you spend it, how will you measure its success.... Have you found the answers to these questions?

Thank you ! I totally agree with you on the comfort level that customers like to have when handing there keys over. The brochure is something i need to do along with getting our services out there (you know the $$ thing) is all that holding us up on doing that. The customers we have done so far (ten) have been very pleased with the level of service and the personal touch we give to there cars. Our pricing to this point has been very well received also.

[B]What about getting those customers to give testimonials? Maybe you can have something typed up that will show the testimonials and reference numbers. And include that on the site too. Just something for thought...

    By the way, you're welcome.

Thank you,We have copies of our binder to show when we pick-up the cars along with company pic id.I am working on the overall marketing plan as we speak,as far as the monies needed would determine the investor and how aggressive this person wants to be.I believe with the correct strategy this could take off pretty quickly.
