Hello. I am sure most of you have heard this story a million times. But here is the deal. I have been in IT and web development since 1993. I am no programmer though, My old partner handled that mess. I just sold it and marketed it. Marketing, Sales, and IT infrastructure & hardware are my specialties. I have built large scale kiosks, been an internet sales director for a large automotive dealer group (currently 40th largest online seller in the nation), and managed several successful endeavors as a consultant to online automotive sales and financing lead generation industries. That's the backstory.
I am seeking a qualified web programmer to become a partner for an idea I have had for nearly 10 years, the candidate will need to be able to "do anything" web related.
I have most of the project in my head, and understand what it will take to achieve it... basically I have it engineered already. I am worried mostly on the backend as the design and site flow I can manage, but any input is helpful. It will be a combination of new programming languages and methods and probably some additional server side stuff to add to what I have already done.
I am certainly willing to share my idea to a qualified candidate following a screening and an NDA/Non-compete agreement.
I am open to any ideas on how the partnership will look.
I have zero capital to invest, only my idea and skill set, a wing and a prayer so to speak.
I am pitching my idea to a group of angel investors at the end of this month and have already commissioned a web developer to quote the initial start of the project. But, I have been down this road before as I sure many have.
The bottom line is I believe in the project, I know it will work, and I just need the right person to share the dream with.
I would prefer a US citizen, who may be in the same boat as me, where we both have something to lose and something to gain.
