I have hesitated to post this here on YE due to the lackluster people I have found on here for my previous ventures. Don't get me wrong, there are some people on here who have huge potential and would bring a lot to a venture but haven't yet been offered, so here I am asking for partnerships and great business relationships to where we can both expose our passion and interest in entrepreneurship.
There are two parts or options to this venture that will succeed both on their own, or integrated into one. I need some entrepreneurs to help me decide as a team about which route to go.
The option that is more lucrative and will be more viral is a bit of a moral objection for me as it deals with my profession. I am supportive of the idea and whatnot, however, it may jeopardize my job but my goodness, I can't let this idea with its strategic marketing plan go to waste. You may read over it and laugh at me, but I'm a somewhat conservative guy and might need someone to take over the concept. It is NOT illegal in any country I have researched, nor is it immoral to the extent of Blackhat, porn, warez/php. It's no where near those. The concept might even been seen as quite comical to some, but ingenious as well. This will create jobs, tons, and see a huge massive exchange of funds. It is a problem that will take the headache off a lot of webmaster's hands, and a lot of people in general.
The second, less lucrative concept still has tons of potential. I was driving on the interstate the other day and was slamming the gas pedal to over 105mpg (speed limit 75) because I was so excited and was praying the idea wasn't taken. I googled and researched for hours, days, and to my huge surprise, it wasn't taken, at least not in the direct form. Some websites do solve this problem, but do NOT monetie it, nor is there any level of trust/respect which is a huge problem for a lot of people.
Both of these can be integrated into one but a little bit more intensive marketing might need to take place.
I really hesitated coming to YE, mainly because I didn't want these potential ventures/concepts to lie around waiting for the new business partners to get online or return their email 10 hours later. For me, this is serious. I am an internet entrepreneur and I expect you to be as well.
I recently sent an NDA to a coder on ifreelance and the custom CMS script will run roughly between $1,400-2000. Not bad considering the potential. He then scrapped the cost to do it for equity, but he/she being in India and on a different time zone, I just had to decline. Hence why I am here at YE, to find like minded entrepreneurs who have a DRIVE and a PASSION once they see a innovative idea.
I only have a few requirements for potential partners:
- You have to be online at least 5 hours a day.
- You must be from North America/Europe and speak fluent English.
- Agree to MSN messenger based conference calls at least twice a week.
