My name is Rich Hentosh ive ran my own record company for the past 5 years. We have released 6 retail albums nationwide (with over 450,000 cd sales) We also have 4 artists signed to our label (2 of which have over 250,000 cd sales each). We have nationwide distribution with EMI (major music distribution)

we are currently looking for investors/partners for the 2 new releases we have finished and ready for retail. We have music videos already completed, radio singles pressed up as well as prime buzz. we are looking for investors so we can have a strong radio promotion, pr promotion and street team promotions. We need roughly 50-75k PER RELEASE

We get roughly $4-5 a cd sold (minus the recoupment of pressing/retail co op marketing and other expenses charged to us from distributor) so the window ROI is in a 6-12 month period!

We can do a solid % ROI or if its a good investor/partner we can split all cd sales profits accordingly.

This is a for real business opp for someone who wants to step into the music business when all the "dirty" work has been done.

crack music is cysseros label i helped him start, hes still under the Affiliated Records Umbrella. As for no question they haven't been signed to Ruff Nation/WEA since 2004

as for 50grand, thats a great amount to fund an indie release.

Rough Break Down
20k on radio (Regional)
10k on PR
10k on Retail co Op marketing
5k on Street Team
5k for overage funds for promo items, sampler run offs, minimal stuff like that

Trust me ive been doing this long enough to know whats fee sable. Of course we could use more, but at this stage 50k is enough to do what we need to do to make the 1st of the albums a success

If you are looking for a serious investor you have to be firm on exactly what you need. You keep using the word "rough". Investors don't want to see rough estimates and they don't want to see a range of what you need or a range expenses. They want to see exactly what you think you need, and exactly what the expenses are. Even if you don't know the exact cost, provide a single figure as your best estimate.

Im surprised of your CD sales figures. When I was trying to launch Independent Record Label in 2002-2003 we got only few hundred CD sales but over 170K MP3 downloads. As Internet was free but mobile operators had implemented Premium SMS billing I tried to convince Nokia then to integrate MP3 player with mobile phone. It took them several years so my label vanished meanwhile. This time I'm trying to produce animated stories for mobiles as mobile music market is too crowded already.

Just An Update We Were Able To Get 2 Major Rappers Cleared For The Cyssero Album (The Game And Lil Wayne) So Now it Looks Like The Cyssero Album Can Do More Numbers Then originaly Planned. Also As requested by the others I broke down what exactly we need investors for

Ok Little Update, We Got Distribution SECURED, WE got the Artwork Done (Below) and Album Will be Finished Jan 18th. Like I Said We have done all the "Dirty Work" just looking for someone now to Invest, Sit back and reap the rewards!
