Electronic Sports business looking for investor/partner

Don't believe this is a very good place to find an investor.

It is for online gaming and tournaments. $3.95/mo fee to be a premium member, I can already say 10,000 people will pay that.

Well yes, there is a site that is sorta like my idea but really simple and you really cant do much of anything on it. It is $6/mo and they I do believe have 30,000 or 300,000.

With my site being half the price and you can actually gain out of the $3.95 I can easily promote my site to steal almost them all.

Not only do they support three games, I support all the major games.

i think you're onto a winning opportunity. i really do. the space space u're in is hot hot hot
....it's gonna cost a lot to set up though, like, you haven't budgeted for your cost of customer aquision...which is gonna be through the roof before you get to critical mass
regardless, hope u can get your self a good team
i really really really wish you succeeed with this project, it's a good one

if i was doing it though...i'd start it off as some sort of a facebook/iphone app, make some money and then transition it into a standalone web property
the cost of doing a consumer facing gaming startup are pretty high, you're gonna need some serious funding down the track, to get the funding, you need to show initial traction, and it'll be easier, cheaper and quicker for you to show traction if you launch the proof of concept on a platform like facebook...where you have inbuilt viral marketing, easily identifiable early adopter market and less competition

...consider your options...have patience, think long term, play safe

There are no competitors, as you can't say that because you don't know what my company is =)
