Cool Idea Monster meets Youtube for athletes

Hello,My name is joshua and i have a cool idea for a new social site its kind of like monster.com meets youtube except its for Athletes... its a site where a HS and junior college and overseas athletes can post there acadmeic and atheletic resumes along with game tape for college coaches and even pro scouts to see...the problem i'm having though is i dont think it will be hard to get people on the site the only problem i have is marketing it to College coaches and Pro Scouts to actually use it..

That sounds interesting. but people could easily edit there videos etc to make them look better than they really are. The site needed would have to be quite decent to work all the information well.

thats all highlight tapes are anyway your best plays in a short video so thats what I'm not Worried about

No not yet I just kind of wanted to see what response i would get and how i would actually go about doing it

I would suggest doing some research to determine whether your idea is viable. Go and talk with athletic directors and coaches to gauge their reaction to your idea. You should be able to find out pretty quickly whether it is a service/website they would use. Also, you should talk to high school athletes to see whether they would be willing to post their athletic resume on the site.
