The site will be a high quality adult video chat service website. The site makes money numerous ways like... Pay per minute chat with the models, Selling or trading live streams with other Cam Networks, Selling prerecorded shows from performers, Monthly Membership Subscriptions, Advertisements... etc

What experience do you have in this industry? How much of your $10K will be spent on the site and how much on marketing?

I have 2 years of experience with adult internet marketing, web cam models and adult performers.

8K will go towards the development of the site (design, software, hosting ect)
2K will go towards marketing which I already have experience with so I can keep cost effective.

Also the great thing about adult live video sites, are that the models also market themselves. They too look for leads to sign up. Which is something the software also allows you to track.

It's very profitable. There are numerous ways to make money with an adult video site.

-monthly membership fees
-pay per minute cam shows
-pre recorded video cam shows
-sell performer live feeds
-advertising space
-sponsers

It's a very profitable business, especially if you set up your own studio to allow local models to have a safe place to work out of. It's a bit tougher the route that you are going - There are companies that will set up an adult cam site for $250 that is linked to one of the big sites. Models make money instantly, so all of this can be done for very little overhead, meaning there are more and more competitors coming onto the market.

The $2k advertising budget is a good start, but make sure to continue pumping money into advertising as soon as it is earned. It's an uphill battle, especially since your competition is between the guy across the street trying to do the same thing and a company that has tens of millions to pump into getting the best talent and advertising.

This industry and website idea has huge potential. From the sounds of it you have everything masterfully planned out and well researched. I believe you can do it by yourself and/or with that micro investor. Start small, be linear in your business model until revenue accumulates. Plenty companies even outside of Adult start menial and in versions 2.0 come with better features. This is all how you drive up membership and keep new customers coming in. Great luck!

You need 10k to start the site, and you're that confident it'll bring a return? If you're that confident - you can easily get that $10k in credit cards with 0% interest for the timeframe you're looking at.

Sorry, but when I see people requesting lower amounts of money - the risk involved is always minimized as to what an actual representation of the risk factor(s) should be. If you're requesting $10k and are so confident you can make this as possible as you state -- what's preventing you from opening some revolving credit to get it launched?
