I joined a couple years back and made one my first ever posts anywhere on YE at age 49 and didn't get any hits by investors. I have learned a lot since then because I did everything myself whenever possible. I worked with the patent atourney to submit the patent, did all the graphics design work for the product and packaging (I'm a draftsman by profession), and set up a website using Yahoo merchant for dummies. The one thing I learned is that marketing is realy tough with a low dollar item. You have to make it up in volume and volume means you need a wider audience/market.
My inventions the BulletBobber and DualFin planer boards with directional control as far as an investment are probably only of interest if they are also a fishermen.
Their are about 80,000,000 folks that go fishing and 250,000,000 fishing floats sold each year in thr US. Yes - I've done a lot of home work. The Banjo Minnow had $1,000,000 in sales in one day thru infomercials. If your old like me you remeber Ron Popiel's Pocket Fisherman that made many millions thru infomercials. Ron was the first ever, what we call pitchman and better then today's "Billy Maise Here With Agent Orange Cleanser".
Oh-Well if you are an investor and a fisherman maybe you will keep reading to see what I have and where I am. Too bad my pictures and viseos don't view on this site and you'll have to hit all the links to make sense of it.
"Fishing Floats with Directional Control"
They use the current like a stunt kite uses the wind but only require one string.
They plane on the surface of the water to the left or the right and flips direction with the flick of the wrist.

There are two different styles for appeal to all fishermen. The videos aren't good quality and don't show fish being caught but are subtle enough to show what they can do and how they work.

The BulletBobber are made in 4 sizes.
If you fish in a river you only need to cast one time and then use the current to go where you want.

You can steer your bait or lure around weed beds.

The DualFin is more for trolling with the ability to zigzag or straight troll.

The DualFin also can be used for very fast currents in a river if you just want to keep your lure active and sit down in camp.

Here are some diagrams that show some of things they can do from shore.

And here are some diagrams of things they can do from a boat.

Infomercials aren't cheap if you want a good production and niether is the air time. Producing video for 30 second, 1 minute, 2 minute, and 30 minute time slots all at once would make sense. It provides the most flexibility when buying air time. There are lots of ways to test the market if an investor/fishermen wants to take a shot. I don't have any employees but I can do a lot myself and all the above is hopefully proof of that.
