Anyone got MEDIA SALES experience?

Hi guys,

I run a website (and soon to be magazine).

I'm currently at the stage where I need to start selling advertising.

Everything is ready to go (mag/media pack/website designed etc.)

However, I don't know much about media sales and would like to meet somebody who has experience in this area to discuss how I should go about selling media space...

If anybody on here has that experience or knows of somebody who has a proven track record in the area - please let me know.

Ummm, I don't think so...

Distribution is 20,000 in universities nationwide.

Do you think it's an option?

I don't think she would be much good to you in the UK

The magazine is targeted at quite a niche market within UK universites.

Still, with a distribution of 20,000 do you think it would be a waste of time getting American companies interested? (At this point anyway...)
