    Angel Funding Needed

We are exploring the possibilities of obtaining angel funding for a start-up. Our concept would revolutionize the way mortgage lending is done, and would enable lenders, borrowers and investors to take full advantage of the upcoming rebound in the housing industry with confidence. This company would provide much-needed integrity to the lending industry, which has suffered a major blow to its overall reputation worldwide. Our ultimate goal is to have HUD incorporate our concept as a requirement to sell MBS on the secondary market, and to contract with us to apply the processes we develop.

If this process were in place over the past 15 years, the mortgage "meltdown" may have been greatly mitigated if not totally avoided.

No daisy chains, please. Principals only.

There should be some angle investor groups in your area that set up monthly or quarterly meet and greets. Also talk to attorneys and accountants - consider real estate attorneys as their clientele would at least have a perspective on what you are doing, and might see the opportunity as a strategic investment.

Also, if you are targeting individuals, you should be using a private placement memorandum to be in compliance with state and federal security laws that deal with the issuance of unregistered (private company) securities. Using a PPM will also give you and your partners cover from potential securities fraud claims by controlling what is communicated to prospective investors.

    Good luck
