A new and Better Facebook!!!!
Hello,
Name is Steve Wyatt, back in 1998 I started 2havefun.com Where to Have Fun In America, sold it in 2006.
When I started it I knew very little about how to create a web site, but 8 years later when I sold 2havefun.com it was ranked by Alexa @ 117,000
I learned alot while building it and the reason I sold it was because of the new abilities that could be done with programs I had 2 choices Rebuild it or sell it, so I sold it.
Well Since than I have thought of new ideas on making a web site, The one thing while building 2havefun.com I knew I wanted the visitors to beable to discuss there fun places to visit, but the programs to do things like facebook were not written really Yet.
Facebook as you know blew the walls of the internet - but it lacks the personal side of people in many ways.
My Plan is to create a simular style Facebook web site, but instead of it only being one script, I want to create a multi level script use.
Explanation - You start off by registering on the main script, but after you signup you will have the ability to join the sections of things you enjoy or need.
Example - I enjoy camping, traveling, helping others, etc....
So after registering I join the network of Camping, Traveling and helping others
Camping - Is a social Nwetwork of people who really enjoy camping, By becoming friends with several of them I get to hear about the great places to go camping at a reasonable price and in areas I get opinions of who are the best campgrounds.
Traveling - This group may provide the tips to getting great deals or better driving routes than interstates
Helping Others - These sections will be support groups, or even to the point of Having Online suicide live chatrooms, or Online AA groups in chatroom, the possiblities are endless.
Facebook is a good site but also on facebook, if you have friends on your list that enjoy things you can't stand or don't care about, if you keep them as a friend you have to view there posts about them.
On this site only the people in that certain section will see the posts.
Meaning if you have an interest that you either don't want all your friends to know about, or are just feeling it out Than this stuctured website will let you do that.
I look at the internet as a growing tool that people can and do use.
Facebook is todays market but I don't think it will be tommorrows market,
A facebook with many avenues is the future and I will be a part of it.
The startup costs I figure is $25,000 and within 6 months it could be bringing that in every month.
The one thing that is needed by an investor is to stay equal (in the middle) the Site will need to stay neutral.
I could make this post huge but won't

I am 100% sure this site plan will be an everyday type of web site in 5 years and instead of copying the idea I want to be the site that starts the next level of Internet use.
