60k investment needed Internet vision

Hello my name is Vangeli Gelekas. I am brand new to youngentrepreneur.com. I am co-owner of 422 Studios, we are a freelance web design studio out of Dallas,TX. I have been designing websites for years for very successful business'. Designing and creating business on the Internet for me is not a difficult task and we have the track record to prove it. Although...I don't need an investment for my web design company. Our company runs itself and pays for my living expenses just fine.

What I have is a new innovative idea and vision that will capture America entrepreneurship and mold the way we do future business with real estate. As I see it there is nothing out quite like it and I would like for an investor to be my first customer...what does that mean?

Well...if you have 60k to invest in me and are serious I will break everything down to you and you will become MY personal lifetime 50/50 partner..that's right there is only one person in this which is me Evangelos Gelekas and all I need is CAPITAL I am the brains and code cruncher developer in this operation I have a staff ready to handle my workload I need the person who can shell the dough to get this done!!

I promise you have never heard nothing like it.. Also PLEASE this is not a restaurant or business or salon NOTHING like it, if you are not young creative and out of the box you will never get the vision I SEE only the smart APPLY!!!

Vangeli: This is very short on specifics, and the whole way it is presented will turn off most people. This type of marketing does not appeal to anybody that actually has $60,000.

The whole " if you are not young creative and out of the box you will never get the vision I SEE only the smart APPLY!!!" is just silly.

Please note that I am not going to present myself any other way besides REAL and HONEST. I am not writing to you for a grant or for you to judge my essays and dot my punctuation. What I am doing is laying down my foundation of vision and hoping someone takes the time to actually listen and try to envision my plan.. As far as your comments go if you are looking for someone to sell you a dream of your lifetime then keep searching.. I don't need to "suger" coat anything to turn an investor into a believer, heck if I had the capital NO MAN regardless his income or money he has to invest would know what I want to do. In reality though I do not have that kind of capital and am wanting someone to give 30 minutes of there time to hear something that would change the average person with capital to invest into a very profitable person! It might not be the "correct" way to ask for an investment or shall I say proper, believe me when I say this if I needed your or anyone's two sense I would have first asked your for your advice on asking for investments in return...here is your refund of $0.02 (you might need it for someone who asks for an investment the wrong way)

Vangeli: I think you are wrong about the judging part. When you ask publicly for money, that is exactly what you are asking the reader to do. You have admitted that you do not have the capital, but the approach that you are taking will most likely appeal to those that also lack capital, but are not short on bravado.

This is what I am willing to do, send me a summary of your plan via PM and I will be willing to consider it and give you my feedback. I will understand if you think I am not smart enough or innovative enough. Try to keep the pitch down to two to four paragraphs.

What the plan is? How are you going to make money? How are you going to get there? How is the money going to be used? What percentage of ownership/profits are you willing to part with?

I apologize if I am coming off rude or angry in this matter, as I am not here to waste nobodys time nor money. What bothers me though is when people add there comments when frankly they are not interested in investing. Here is an example if I was selling a car that didn't look too well cosmetic wise, why would you leave a comment that says hey man that's an ugly car IMO? Who gives a #%^* if you don't want to buy it...THEN DON'T COMMENT. If you are not interested MOVE ALONG don't question or badger someone because they are trying to land an investor let them (investors) make there 2 cent opinions.. I have looked at your website and to be honest and not to be at all badgering but I don't think with that website anyone would want your advice so I am going to pass on your offer, thank you..

I think that there are two schools of thought. You can either be about "form over function" or support "function over form". So far, my comments were honest comments about form and centered around the way your request was presented. I was hoping to take a look at the function and see if there was something there.

Although I might be new on these forums, they are after all forums where you can expect to receive feedback if you post. I hope that you can see that anything that I wrote was meant with good intentions. I do not know you and have no desire to put you down or disrespect anybody. On the other hand, I do fit the profile of someone that is a potential investor in your site.

And regarding my website, I agree that it is a horrible monstrosity built more than ten years ago and has been largely forgotten for several years. I am not a web site designer, and got to building it more as a hobby than anything else. I know that in the eyes of some there is little respect for someone that used tables to build the layout.

Then again, even after all these years of neglect I think I still have a respectable audience, and enough recognition to have been linked from respectable authoritative sites.

Anyway, I respect your decision and will stay away from this thread from now on. I hope that I am wrong in my assessment and you do get the financing, and become a great success.
