Hi,

I am an established music producer in Memphis, TN. I have been presented with an amazing once in a lifetime opportunity to launch the vision for my expanded company (I already own a studio with exsisiting indie and major label clients).

I have been presented with the opportunity to own one of the worlds most famous multi grammy winning 4 room facilities here in Memphis. It's world class with a vibe second to none. I have already downsized from my 5000 square ft. facility and bought out my former biz partners and moved into a temporary 1600 sq. ft. facility here in town.

What I am looking to do is far more than just a conventional recording studio or record label. The industry has changed and those biz models will simply not work any longer.

The biz model, while recording studio rental will be a valubale revenue generator, will focus on artist development and being a resource to indie artists but mainly being a development source for labels to look to for educated, refined and amazing talent.

In this way we will also be a resource to other studios in the area. We will cultivated individuals with drive and talent in the technical areas of recording and video as well and hopefully help place these (students - I use that term loosely) in real world industry jobs.

Of course, we will charge a fee for the "boot camp" type artist development program, we will sign very select artists to our indie label, record many aspects of the boot camp program for a possible reality show major network placement as well as DVD training resources for aspiring artists. This particular biz model has not been implemented anywhere in the world. I have inside info on near future major label location to memphis etc and now is the right time to have this all in place.

The problems I am having are:
I do not have a formal business plan drawn up (I have been running a successful commercial studio since 1998)

The facility is being looked at by 2 serious studio owners out of Nashville and it is about to get away from me.

I have zero funding after buying out my former partners etc.

I need someone to believe in me. I am doing as much business and more in most cases as any of the other commercial studios here in Memphis so maintaining the status quo is is not a problem.... I have a much bigger vision than that. (think Fred Smith and FedeX - someone believe in me and take a chance on this - it will create a legacy guarunteed!!!!!)
