Where can i find a investor

Hey everybody. I been searching for a investor for a couple days now & still no luck. I know it will take me some time to find one but i also want to build a friendship with the person that will investing into my project. I have dozens of great ideas for projects that i know will be great moneymakers. Im not all about making money but if i can help someone while making money than i will feel a lot better. I do a lot of thinking & research and im coming up with so many great successful ideas. I have a team of local web developers ready for any projects i throw at them & i also have great marketing/advertising skills. Im just looking for someone who will be interested in investing in a great project. I will need NO more than $17,000 for this project. I thought about just getting a bank loan but im only 19 & i haven't really been trying to establish credit so i know i will get turned down. That's my next move trying to build my credit. Now like i stated earlier i want to get to know the person who will be investing in this project that's why i haven't gave any details about the project but if you are interested then you can pm me or email me at moewill89@gmail.com and i will be more than happy to discuss the project with you. I also would not mind hooking up with a reliable & experience business partner. 2 brains is always better than one. So if anyone is interested in investing in a great project please pm me or email me at moewill89@gmail.com and i will tell you more about the project and the total amount i will need. I want this project to launch within the next few months so the sooner the better. Thanks and take care.

Unfortunately at $17,000 you may be better off turning to friends and family along with boot strapping yourself. I started my own company last year at 18, threw in some of my own money and a ton of time building a business plan. After presenting the plan to my own personal network I got the funding I needed to get started.

Also, I don't know the nature of your project but keep in mind that if you are successful then it might NOT be the only money you need. Sometimes extra funding is necessary just to keep up with the growth that occurs when a business is an initial success. We ran into that situation and are now going back to the marketplace for more money, but a much larger sum this time.

Just food for though, and good luck!

yea your right it might cost me a little more to keep the site running. I can probably go to a few friends for the funding. I don't think i will get an investor because of the low investment needed. i will try and figure something out. Thanks for your suggestions. Does anyone else have anymore suggestions that might help me?

Another option that I forgot to mention is an SBA guaranteed loan. I'm too lazy to do the research but I don't remember there being a minimum on this kind of loan. Something to think about...

I agree with Ergo1 about the SBA guaranteed loan. You could also try to go to some networking events in your industry and try to meet up with some people that might be interested in investing with you.

You can also turn to twitter to network with some great people.
