I'm trying to connect with like-minded entreprenuers, investors, or potential partners.

This is what I'm offering and trying to accomplish:

I'm looking for investor(s) or partner(s). I'm offering 20% equity stake in this venture for a 30k investment. Or, give me a counter offer. My short-term goal is to manufacture 1,000 board games to be sold mostly online, but also door-to-door, friends and family, day-care centers, and through point of purchase. I have a few stores willing to carry my product. I calculate the break-even point to be 6-7 months from time of first sale, but could be sooner depending on demand and aggressive selling method. I plan to use toy and other distributors once the initial 1,000 units are sold or break-even point has been reached, whichever comes first. Copyright registrations and Patent Pending status are in order.

This is what I bring to the table:
  • A proven play-tested children’s product line, including a completed board game, head-start education material, and a drawing tablet. Target market is children 4 and up, day-care centers, stores, internet, teacher supply stores and catalogs, and eventually schools.

Note:
  • I have had interviews with WABC-TV and SCORE, both are willing to work with me on some level (i.e. marketing/advertising) once I can generate some sales.
  • This project is 6 years in the making, with careful research and development.
  • I will entertain the thought of licensing, and/or backing from a large manufacturer if we can get to 3rd base on this.
