Web based business start up in solar photovoltiac system design and distribution

My Name is Brendan Ashford and I am starting a Limited Company called BA Solar Photovoltaic System.

We will be retailing Solar PV (Photovoltaic) System to Installers across the country; being Solar PV Installers ourselves we found it difficult chasing different Electrical Wholesaler & Stockiest for Specialist Solar PV Equipment. This meant a lot of time and money wasted. Especially because Electrical Wholesalers do not deal with solar energy equipment all that often so they don’t know what the difference is between a solar panel or an inverter.

Our aim is to bring everything an Installers needs under one roof, being able to supply whole systems or parts. Being able to offer a quick, reliable and competitive service, our customers can rely upon.

The objective is within 18 months to be the in the top 3 Google listings for Solar PV Retailers and to have a healthy, financially prosperous & stable company that is a leader in customer service and that with a loyal customer following, and to form good partnerships with all major Electrical wholesalers, whereby they only order Solar PV Equipment through us that their customers may need.

The Renewable energy market is one of the fastest growing markets in the world today. Majority of people do fundamentally care about the environment and want to make personal changes to their life style and/or to their property to reduce the damage they may be causing the environment. Mainly through the Co2 emissions they create. Further more the government is getting more and more behind the green energy movement offering subsidies through their Quangos. And intend to offer more in the way of buying energy from small producers onto the national grid in March 2010. And further more there have been ever greater whispers through Westminster and Local Government on implementing for new builds to become eco friendly and have Green Energy as part of design and construction.

While searching through this forum I finally came upon what I am looking for!

My name is Andrew wheeler. Recently, I graduated with my Masters degree in Architecture and have a strong passion for environmental design, construction and renewable energies.

To cut to the chase, I am building a website to promote solar products / services as an affiliate marketer (getting to your goal of being at the top 3 in google). I am a true entrepreneur at heart and have always wanted to design, development and implement sustainable buildings and energies. It's funny how you can do several different things, then one day it just clicks - as it did for me.
