Smile Uk - USA trade , any ideas ?

HI
I am based in the UK and i was looking for ideas to exploit the UK - USA markets. The exchange rate is pretty good at the moement for £-$ and i was looking for a good product / products to buy from the USA and sell in the UK. Trouble is alot of wholesalers/ stores are not keen to export to the UK .
Anyone got a good idea or can suggest a partnership that can be benifical to both parties?
Thanks beth

Hi, Beth:

What's your background, experience, etc. It's not that easy since the USA and the UK are not exactly strangers to each other, as you know. Let's start with what your strenths are. I'm a US person, but does it absolutely need to be a US made product that you wish to import into the UK? Unless it is a very high tech

I'm a US person, but does it absolutely need to be a US made product that you wish to import into the UK? Unless it is a top-end high tech, it would be very difficult to find US made consumer type product to sell there. I have significant experience in export/import and may have alternative suggestions, but let's first see what is that you can do in England.

If you wish to respond, please e-mail me at: aj_x_y_z@yahoo.com

I'm living in the UK and have contact with a distributor of Heely's Shoes. Would you be interested in importing Heely's shoes?
