Two Website ideas, need funding Poker and Painters

Ok, so I have been making software and developing websites for clients since 2004. I still make software and the web designer market is saturated. My next big ideas are starting two websites that can bring in a large amount of revenue from advertising and affiliate accounts that are set up with other websites. Just follow me here because I am looking for a partner to only have to invest $1000 for both websites to be developed (I would develop them myself, but I have a full time job and I don't really have the time).

Site 1- Wikipokersite.com
This website is based off the famous website wikipedia.com. This website will be virtually ran by poker players who can view and edit pages for free by signing up to the site. The site will consist of ALL the poker sites that are online today. As you may know, online poker is a billion dollar industry with over a billion online poker players. Most new poker players do not know where to play at, where the competition is soft, what is the best deposit option is for them, ratings, reviews, site bonuses, etc. I want to take the idea of letting anyone edit these pages and run with it. There will be several categories for each site. Here are just a few of the categories:
payment options - types of deposits, cashouts, etc.
competition level - soft, fishy, sharks, etc.
types of games, limits, # of tables available, etc.
Reviews of the site
FAQ about the site
How to sign up for each site- I want to make it easy for each person to sign up and this will be where I make affiliate money per sign-up.
What professional players play at the site
Security - Random Card Generator, how made it, security tips, etc.
Interface and Functionality ratings
Overall Site Ratings
Company Information- How long the site has been up, who started it, etc.
Known Program Bugs
Average # of people at any hour
Promotions- Rake back, free cash, sign-up bonus ,etc.
hand histories
forums
and much more.
The money will be through the affiliate sign ups, advertising, google adsense, etc. Also a online poker store will be added in the future providing books, chips, shirts, etc.

No one has provided this much information on one site, and since it will be ran by us, (poker players) then you get the testimonial feel of the website.

Site 2- findvapainter.com
Now most of the work will be on me for this one. I work at a paint store (Sherwin Williams) and I make websites for painters. About 5% of painters in VA have some type of website, listing, etc online and that is not good. This website will be a directory of all the painters in VA starting with the big areas such as Smith Mountain Lake, Roanoke, Rocky Mount, Martinsville, Collinsville. I have already started adversting website packages, which will be included in the business plan. They have two types of packages, one is a informational website and one allows clients to go and view how the work is coming along that is updated often. The directory is for homeowners who want to locate a painter in their area, and they have the whole VA to search through. Each painter in the directory will include company information, portfolio, testimonials, a painter rating, contact information, bio about the company owner, and much more. There will be over 30 categories that homeowners can search through, so it is not all just about painting. The categories include residential, commercial, industrial, staining, pressure washing, sandblasting, sheetrock, sidewalk and driveway sealing, wood refinishing, carpentry, wallpapering, faux finishing, and that is not even half the categories. Homeowners will be able to search by what ever they want, such as city, painter name, (alphabetically, top rated, most projects completed, etc),by category or categories, etc. Painters will be required to pay a one time small fee ($35 to 50) to be placed on the directory and the ones who recieve a website will automatically be placed in the directory, but the choice is there. Painters will be able to sign up and view how many people have visited their sites, their feedback ratings, where they are at in the painter rankings, etc. Homeowners and non homeowners have an option to refer a painter, which they will recieve money for doing so. This will be the biggest directory in VA and if the site catches on, we will be moving to NC,SC, WVA,etc. until the whole USA is painterized When we do other states, all the states will be linked so that when you are on the VA site, you can click a link to go to the NC site and vice versa and so on. Like I said, I already have been promoting and I have 5 websites that I am making and they are excited on the site launch, but I still need the capital. I already have exactly how much it will cost to advertise, set-up the website, etc. and I am offering a percentage of the revenues or if you have a better way, please let me know.

These sites will make the most money just by affiliate sign-ups and advertising.

Criticism is welcome. These sites are already in the progress, but I would like to speed up the process before its too late.

Thank you for your time and critiques in advance,
DeShea Witcher

Unhappy No one interested?

No suggestions? Criticisms? Investors?
If this isn't the right place to look for such things, could someone direct me in the right direction?

hi DeShea

welcome

you're in the right place, it's the pitch that people won't respond to

remember the golden rule of capital seekers: If you ask for advice, you may get capital. If you ask for capital, you will at best get advice.

there's no need to get pigeonholed as an amateur

if you're hustling for money, follow the rules: ask for advice (not capital), pique interest with stats, LOIs, traction, achievements, name dropping, push for a meeting, don't release too much information, push for a second meeting, release more information and push for a close

things break down when these simple commandments are overlooked (read no 3!!!!)

Smile Wow

Thank you for that information, I wish I would have seen that before I posted so much information lol. I guess I gave so much information so investors would know I was serious but I see that too much information can be a bad thing. I knew it wouldn't be easy, and advice to me is just as good as capital, so I need to back up and take baby steps.

Advice, Suggestions, and Criticism is what I really want, the capital can come later. I just want these websites to have maximum potential.

Thank you for replying.
