Exclamation "The Enterprisers" Rap/Hip-Hop Record Label Proposal

"The Enterprisers" is a team of young and talented men and women determined to make a name for themselves in the entertainment industry. The group consists of the following members - Darren "Noelz (no-elz)" Levey (Rapper/Singer), Alexander "ALO (al-loh)" Ross (Rapper/Songwriter), and Christian "Young Bruus" Hughes (Rapper). Recently the Enterprisers have been featured on several major projects such as Alo's single "Trendsetta", which was placed on Brooklyn rapper and Konvict Music artist Red Cafe's new mixtape. The trio has been on countless other mixtapes with major recording artists (Yung Joc, G-Unit, and Fat Joe mixtapes just to name a few). Not excluding Noelz' collaboration on his upcoming album "Last Of A Dying Breed" with Young Money/Wanna Blow Ent artist Jae Millz on a track entitled "We On Top". As a result of this success we've decided to officially make the Enterprisers a record label allowing us to reach the masses. We have over ten years of combined experience doing everything from performing, engineering, producing, songwriting, etc. I myself have been writing/performing songs for a litte over 5 years. Our buzz has gotten us local recognition and a core fanbase. Although this buzz has not lead to any "BDS/radio spins" as of yet it did in fact play a major role in landing the Enterprisers a record deal consideration meeting with the Vice President of Def Jam Recordings, Lenny Siantiago. Ultimately our goal is to find and work alongside an investor/investors who are willing to invest around $50,000 to $150,000 dollars ($10K minimum investment) to help us start and maintain the label, invest the capital into ourselves (marketing, promotion, touring), and shop around our music for distribution/publishing deals on the labels behalf. After consulting with an attorney, he advised me that the best way to start a record label would be to list it as either a actual corporation or a LLC (Limited Liability Corporation). With that being said we are willing to make any potential investor/investors business partners as well as investors offering them a larger share in the company (about 60% depending on the investment). Meaning that all generated revenue will be divided in a 60/40 split, 40% of which belonging to the group. In addition we would prefer investors who are more hands-on in overseeing their investment, assisting us in business and personal matters that may arise along the way. Over the next several months we expect to have tremendous success gross and business related, and with the help of a investor I can assure those interested a prompt return on their investment within a year. Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions and/or concerns. Thank you

I believe some one mentioned this in one of your other posts but I'll post again. You need a manager, not an investor. If you're any good, a manager isn't hard to come by in any large city. Find a good one and build your rep just like everyone else. I can recommend one in the Denver area if you'd like. Although I don't think that would be much help to you. Best of luck.

Enjoy Life,
Nick
