RE: Funds

Right now without definitive #s on development costs it's impossible to give a firm #, but the first 12 months will likely require around $1mm - 3mm depending on marketing. We'll likely be seeking 100k-500k from individual Angels.

Exit strategy is planned for 5 years.

From the information you have provided I think you are on to something. The investment you are looking for is a bit outside of my price range. I can visualize what you are trying to do and it is exciting. I’ve spent the past few years working with auto auctions on their internet sales platforms. The integration you are talking about is greatly needed.

Here are a few people who you might want to send a proposal to. Each of them has the money and they invest in these types of things. Of course none of them will be easy to get to, but good investors just don’t fall out of trees.

1- TPC Management (Pierre Pons or Tom Stewart)
They work in the remarketing industry and have clients like Manheim and Copart. They are investors in all kinds of projects and programs.

2- Copart: The CEO Willis Johnson is a maverick in this industry. He built Copart into a $3B company over the past 25 years. He has also been buying/investing in other companies. He would be the hardest person to get a meeting with, but would be the type of person who might be into something like this. Please make sure that you bring your A game with him. You will only get one chance with him

2- LaneLogic: The CEO Bruce Thompson (secured $500M in financing from Willis Johnson) to start LaneLogic. He and his team are on the cutting edge of technology in the auto industry.

Good Luck and keep me posted as your program becomes more developed.

If you could also send the business plan over to me I would love to take a look at it.
