Online Project - Needs funding!

Hi guys,

Long story cut short. I made a few mistakes growing up. These last few years have been "educational" but suffice to say, there are Evil People in the world. And I'm absolutely tired of it.

I have this idea for an online company based on that very principal. It's so EASY to fall for the get-rich-quick schemes... it's almost like 1 in 5,000 is even possibly legitimate, the rest are just scams.

The plan is for an online community that pays its members to stay / AND / provides them with a discussion forum/blog/joomla cms/social networking site type of deal to get a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or more Opinion before making the leap and regretting it later.

If you look at my previous posts in this forum you will see where my mindset was 3 years ago. It's still there, but from a different angle. - I wasn't surprised when Bernard Madoff was caught running a ponzi-scheme, just that it was for such a low amount! 1% a month? The funny thing is, that's dooable. It's the 1% a day ponzi's that I hate. So I got part of my idea from that too.

Obviously I don't want to give too much out in the forum, I want to have PM's and emails' and chats, but you do need to know a little about it.

I've always wanted my own company or to at least work in Corporate setting with a great relationship with the boss! So that's my vision for myself. A nice office in a big city, a nice car, and a loving family/friends to share it with.

Naturally it'll take time to really take off, which is the sad irony of this post. But I have a business degree, I have ideas, I have passion, enthusiasm, I just lack the right people to utilize it with!

What does someone who is a venture capitalist or who is looking to invest in a start-up look for in a business idea?

I'm trying to picture myself in their shoes... having "saddlebags full of money" but it's really hard right now. If I could put my financial situation into an analogy it would be like driving a car down the highway, running out of gas, and being in the middle of nowhere with no gas in sight. Oh and there's huge tornadoes coming right towards me. Should be here in about 5 days...

I'm practically standing arm-outstretched with a sign saying "will give good ideas for gas!" haha. Ugh. Not how I wanted to be in this situation.

Well this project will have at least 4 income streams:

1. Subscriptions
2. Online Store
3. Advertisements on the site,
4. Foreign Exchange investment company for long-term financial growth. (That's where the Bernie Madoff idea came from)

But it's not just financial backing I need... I also need help doing it... like site-design, php coding... I thought about using Joomla for the CMS as that's semi-user friendly and its got tonnes of cool features.

The content of the site would include anyways of making money online. From Work at Home jobs, PTC offers, HYIPs, Casinos, Forex, matrixes, Affiliate programs, MLMs, etc... the point is to create a place of Quality Discussion for our members so that they have an objective view on an opportunity. We would obviously have to remain neutral but would have to create rules to keep it social.

You might be asking "Well what makes this one different than the sites you listed above?"

Well, I tell you what's the difference. The American Dream. When Ford was the only car-company, why did Chevrolet create a company very similar to Ford? Because they wanted to create competition, and what does competition do? It helps the consumer.

Remember that saying? "When banks compete, you win!" hehe. that's my goal here.

Let's say we get 20,000 people visiting the site daily, companies and programs will want to advertise here rather than a site that only gets 5,000 people a day. And they'll be willing to pay more...
If you have a community of 20,000 people, they will be more likely to stay with something they know well (why MSN Livesearch never took off) and this can allow us to offer more services like our own online store. And the coolest part of this whole plan is to keep them retained!

If we do some sort of profit share, whether it be for our premium subscribers, or for everyone.... people will be hooked! And using reliable processors like PayPal, Alertpay, and SolidTrustPay ... it gives our community easy,fast, and safe transactions.

The real kick comes from the Managed Forex program which is where the long-term profit will come from. If you thought Bernie Madoff was good, you will want to check this company out. Get in touch with me for more information.

Call this a "bump" or whatever, but time is of the essence! LOL. I've got 3 PPT's for 3 (similiar conecpt) ideas but i'm trying to show my creative side and passion --> direction or vision for my life.
