NDA = ANF
NDA: Non-Disclosure Agreement
ANF: Absolutely No Funding
Figure it out, then come back. ;-)

I wouldnt say that as we already have sold 20% of the company for 100,000$ and this is the final % we are selling. Its a pity some members on here are not supportive, this is the whole idea of this website I guess. Ah well...

That was my blunt way of being supportive ;-)
The reason most investors (usually >98%) won't sign an NDA is because
1) What if they are already funding a company similar to yours?
2) What if they aren't interested in your execution of the idea, but someone else comes along with the same idea and better execution?
In both cases, you are significantly limiting the VC before they even know your idea. Perhaps you aren't talking about a VC... but I must ask: Why haven't you approached banks for financing? Your share of liquidity would remain much higher without all of these investors taking a share...

My age... simple. The reason I wont go with investors that dont sign an NDA is becuase its such a revolutionary and innovative idea... Im very cautious of who I let into the circle of trust. You never know who will stab you in the back is all I can say.
But on a lighter note its no problem about the support I welcome any whether it be constructive critism or just a pat on the back.

No I havent allowed them. 30% of the company was all that was for investment and it had to be 3 different investors. And the comment about the TV channel owners?

I think it is great you have a good attitude about the detractors. When their business idea is a community of people making money off of the great idea of one person, you can understand they know alot about business, but little about the great idea that is unique.
A truly great concept keeps you up at night. It makes you run to get it out there first because although you know it is unlikely someone else has the same idea, you still don't want to take the chance.
That previous fellow's company seems to say "tell us your idea, we'll all develop it and make it better, then we all share the money"... which is great if you can find people willing to give you their great idea. It sounds like an idea, but not a great idea. It sounds like a way to make money off of other peoples ideas.... but how does one trust on that level on the internet? I don't get it.
Anyways, I just wanted to give props to the 16 year-old with a great idea and say "boo" to the businessman... if he shot down anyone's funding ideas it may lead them to a site like his.... where he gets a shot at some of the money.
When an idea is truly unique and/or revolutionary, asking for a NDA isn't a bad thing, it's smart business. Trust is earned, not given.
