    Donations are coming in.

If anyone here has donated please PM me the project and amount (or just the project if you prefer). The donation tracker (graph) within each project is now working properly. But I need to know if anyone donated while it was inoperable so we can populate the projects with your donation amounts.

PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO HELP WITH A DONATION. WE NEED YOU. IF YOU BELIEVE IN THE CONCEPT HELP GET THIS MOVEMENT ROLLING! IF YOU POSTED A REQUEST FOR FUNDS REMEMBER TO PAY IT FORWARD AND DONATE TO A FELLOW ENTREPRENEUR'S PROJECT. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!

    Thank you!!

To All Supporters of this great peer to peer funding concept:

Preneuraholics.com has undergone a much antipcated site improvement. One of these improvements was to the donations tracking bar within each project posting.

Because the original site had been left with faulty coding, the tracking bars did not work. As such, any donations that had gone to the project owners were not "captured" by the website for tracking purposes. In effect, all projects appear to have no donations. Since not all project owners have responded to my requests for updates regarding their donations (presumably Preneuraholics.com emails are going to their junk mail or spam folders) we have not been able to update the tracking bars with donations received prior to the fix.

It's all in the power of unity! If you believe in the concept I urge you to make a donation to one of the projects and get the ball rolling.

Preneuraholics.com has received a huge spike in traffic recently thanks to an awesome review in Killerstartups.com. Preneuraholics.com has actually made the top 10 favorite startups, surpassing Google Buzz in reader votes. KEEP VOTING!!

    Thank you!

I support what preneuraholic is trying to do and would use it myself if I could just get my own business to start showing enough of a income to even support me far enough that I was not having to use every amount to just feed my family and keep a roof over my head. I really agree with what preneuraholic is trying to achieve and will becoming an investor to people on it as soon as I am capable. I am one of the few kind hearted people still in this world. As for you loan sharks, you guys are the most heartless people there is. I have been turned down by banks and investors because they don't feel my ideas are good enough as well as myself not being able to have the 10-40% down.

There has been overwhelming VERBAL support for this peer to peer donation funding.

However, if people don't "put their money where their mouth is" this is going to fail and the opportunity to have this as an option for those that can't get funded through banks, SBA, venture capital, angels...is going to DISAPPEAR.

The only reason this won't work is if "believers" don't support it with a donation of their own. Just a little something will show other potential donors that this is a viable concept and they in turn will donate.

People want to see this work but they don't follow through and give. It can't work if you don't participate.

Great looking site, and I look forward to seeing it grow. I want to ask you something though.

Your business model will only work, if people have faith, and are kind enough to give, when they wont get anything back, especially now in the economy, that will be put to the test.

What if there was a lender, theoretically speaking...maybe a small bank, or some other business that gave "loans" to people, with an OPTIONAL interest rate. Would the modle stand-up and thrive or collapse?...again, like your business, it relys on people making sound judgement.

For a while now, I've been trying to get my payday loan biz off the ground, but I', still waiting for the license to be approved. If I could offer "loans" at 0% apr, I'd be the hottest thing in town. I'd market my biz mostly to churches, and other religious events to get people who, most likely, wouldn't take advantage of me, and pay interest on the loan, on the due date, even when they didn't have too.

    non sense
if you're buying a commercial loan at 8% and selling it as a consumer loan at a higher rate, you can't turn around and start giving away cash at 0%. your shareholders would be losing money through your altruism...and that's illegal.

    we've talked about this..
if you want to run a charity benefiting small business, there are other more effective solutions than your current solution...
...not that charities are an effective solution to startup financing to begin with..

Adding to Akula's comments, if you believe that marketing to churches and religious folks would ensure repayment I'm afraid you would be seriously off base. People who profess Christianity (or whatever religious affiliation) are every bit as apt to lie, steal and cheat as anybody else. Unfortunately that is the way of the world.
