Can I clarify something, you originaly said:

Quote:
Barber Planet is a line that is directed towards clothing for Barbers while establishing ourselves as a clothing mogul. We are going to be placed in every Barber Shop in the Nation providing Smocks, Capes, Hats, Sweatbands, jackets, shirts and other designer clothing
Is your clothing targeted towards the general public or just barbers? I'm confused because the above clothes are just for barbers, yet you are selling to the military, JC Pennies, and other consumer stores. Also, how would you be willing to acheive "we are going to be placed in eveyr barber shop in the nation"? Most barber stops are indepently owned and overcoming this obstacle and getting all of them to sell clothes, something they have never sold before sounds... hard.

Ok you are right. Too bad that I did provide information and everytime that I did provide that, did they listen? It gets to a point that it gets old. So please don't come back to me saying that I am lashing out at people because I tried to explain my company. Several times stating the line of business that I was in, what my market projections were, where we wanted to go and the reason for going there. What was my responce? There is no market in Barber Shops. Even though there were 2 BarberShop movies and coming with a 3rd. Beauty Shop is also coming out with a second. So please before you say that all that you wanted was information on my company and I lashed out, remember I have for about a month now. I was very calm and collect until I found out that this really is not a place to be because of the people that were here. I have told everyone from the beginning, I wanted to find people that were interested into my company, wants to know more without trying to get information to use against me. I want interest. Just thought that you should know what really happened instead of bringing things back on me. I know that I shouldn't have fought back, but when you feel so passionate about something and all you have from this site are people using things against you, it gets to you.

You can't be serious. The other day I was telling my barber, Angelo, a 70- something year old Italian immigrant who's been cutting my hair for years, about your brilliant idea. He thought I was joking. Now, I know that guys like Angelo are being increasingly "phased out" for barber college chains like Supercuts, etc. but I think he has a good point that would stand with the majority of barbers out there, in that they don't want what you're sellin' and I'm guessing that Jc Penney sure as hell doesn't want that stuff either. Why would the casual consumer want to buy a barber smock to wear? You've gotta be kidding me.

PS... Colt GT... I really hope you're not referring to the car.... ugh, and then you go and call all of us "broke with mortgages to pay". Yeah, I guess you're referring to the mortgages my family's got on beachfront houses in Cape Cod and Key West. Zing! I have more than you'll ever have, there Colty baby, so stop frontin'. Ugh, you sicken me...

Well, colt has himself in a corner here doesn't he. His inaccurate information and ideas that seem to change from every different post kind get me wondering, does this guy even have a business plan? I'm assuming you don't, because you still don't even have a solid idea.. and if you don't have a business plan, most investors won't even talk to you. This whole thread has got to be a joke...

All of you can think what you want, if you are serious about reading my business plan then let me know, not to pick it out or take the information to drag me down, I want people with interest. If that is you then I will send you the business plan. If not then leave this Post and leave it for people that want to know more for future reference. If you don't believe in it, then don't say a word and go on with your life and your other posts. But I will stay here until someone is interested. Even though we are getting it going, we now finally have samples, I am ready to move with the business. So if you want to be apart of this or even have a good thought or 2, then write me. Other then that stay off of this post please! Thank you

Coltgt, with very little experience at running a business I have found this site to be one of the best on the internet in comparison to many other entrepreneural/ business websites out there... I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, including yourself, but I am not sure that you are judging this site from the point of view of and inexperienced or young entrepreneur which, as the title of this site suggests, is exactly the target audience that the site is aimed at!

From what you tell us you are already established in the business world and I am sure that many members and viewers on this site would welcome any advice or experience you might share with us. However, I find that your current opinion of this site and of many of its most experienced members offensive as I have gained much assistance and guidence from them, indirectly and directly. I would ask you to look into exactly what theses people you are insulting have achieved before accusing them of being stupid, retarded, or whatever other delightful phrases you have thrown in their general direction. I think you will find that they are not so incompetent as you first surmised.

Many thanks to creator/s of this site and the many people who have helped me, even if you didn't realise it

Coltgt, you never answered my clarification and avoided the question. You come here asking for investors/partners/distributors yet you can't provide information or answer questions on your marketing and business strategy?

Like I have said in just about every post, I will send the business plan to anyone that has an interest. As for bps I could care less about showing you my business plan because I know why you want to view it and I really don't want that. If you are interested into becoming part of this company then I will send it. If not, then please do not post again! Thanks

Mxer, I apologize for not getting back to you soon enough. Our directive has been to provide smocks and capes to barbers and beauty shops alike. Whenever you go into a "Hair Cutting" salon, they cover you with either black and white smocks and capes. We have contacted Sally's Beauty Supply as well as Paradise Beauty Supply and our thoughts were to provide custom made smocks and capes. Matching sets, throw back jersey style, design material and other forms of designs. While establishing ourselves as providers of that, we also want to extend the feel that is in the Barber of Peace and Love, and bring that into the world through our clothes. Whenever people step into a barber Shop, they leave the world behind them as it is home to the African American people. Just like me, we want to bring that out to everyone that we can through the designs of shirts, hats, sweatbands and headbands, jerseys (old school style) Jackets and eventually Shorts. We currently have close 2 30 designs and samples have been made. JcPennies has expressed interest into our clothes as the growing market of Hip-Hop and Urban %'s are growing tremendously and there is really nothing out there being sold in particular stores. So that is the main directive of our company and our goal and dream. Army and Air Force Exchange service is another company that we have had a meeting with, showed them the samples that we did have, so once we have the capital, they would like to make an order. My father just recently retired from that company as Vice President of Diversity at AAFES and has put me into contact with the right people there. Also one of the top executives within JcPennies, an associate with me, Don Mcknight just retired from them as well and now is heading the JcPennies aspect of our company.
