My company has been developing a Massive Multi-Player Online Game Development System. This system is designed to make games like everquest and World of Warcraft. Our rendering technology is using inferred rendering, deferred rendering and forward rendering modes. We have a fully functional network layer that is fully clusterable and scalable to millions of servers. We have the ability to stream data between clients/servers and editors in real-time. The entire game development framework is designed to be managed and handled through a Collaborative Network Interlinked WYSIWYG Editor. We still need to add scripting binds in order to supply the game mechanics for interactive game play. We already have interpolation of user positions working as well as the ability to stream scene nodes on a infinite scale. This is done using a highly advanced paging scene translation layer. We have eliminated floating point precision error on large scenes by using a parent/child scene management system. Basically the character exists in a parent node and is always at 0,0,0 in the 3d space. Then each paging scene node has its own origin of 0,0,0 then we have 7x7 cells that are 1025,2048,1025 in size each. These each have their own origin as I stated previously. Then as the entity moves around, it actually moves the cell parent node around while the child node stays still. The region server tracks each cell as a level and then tells the client how the movement needs to happen. As you move to the edge of a cell and into a new cell, the outside cells load and unload accordingly. This all happens in a multi-threaded seamless fashion. As the region nodes manage the cells, they also intercommunicate with each other in an asynchronous fashion. this means that if one user in cell 900 on server 5 sees a character on cell 901 on server 6. These 2 characters are able to interact in real-time without any heavy latency. RageComm has spent nearly 7 years work developing this networking framework and 2 years developing a game making system to use the networking layer. We also have the ability to seamlessly load and unload media from memory using a simple tally system. Each cell tracks instances of each media item. If the media instance < 1, then the media is completely unloaded from memory and if the instance > 1 then it loads into memory. This prevents unnecessary content from being in the engines memory. We are about 90% done developing this engine to the point of being usable for production. So when people ask what the difference between us and other engines are, its really hard for us to really explain to people who do not have knowledge of what makes all these engines tick.

Basically our major differences are the following:

1: We have the ability to develop multiple massive multi-player games without even rewriting one line of code. So this means our engine is a out of the box massive multi-player game development solution.

2: We have the ability to develop and maintain game content while the game is online and running, so this means our downtime would be much lower then any of the competition.

3: We have the ability to stream our 3d world on a as needed basis, so this means we can have game worlds that are thousands of times larger then the biggest mmo games on the market.

4: We have the ability for developers to work on the same level together in real-time and see each others changes as it happens.

There is no game engine on the entire market that fits the bracket that we have developed this in. We are looking for a serious financial backer who can help us get into the game industry as a game development company.

The engine is targeting the development of games like World of Warcraft, Everquest, and Ultima Online style games. The engines rendering capabilities will be able to do graphics similar to Crysis Warcry, Gears of War 2, and Call of Duty 4. The engine could also be used to make games like Command & Conquer, Need for Speed, or the Sims on a MMO scale since it is not specificly restricted to RPG. The engines gameplay mechanics is strongly script engine based using byte-code. We also have extensive advancements in content management as well as real-time content streaming. We are still looking for partners to join up in the development and marketing of our products. Game Development companies are preferred since my 2 main businesses are game development and laptop development. The laptop company already has a partner but we still have a opening for a partner on the game development company.

We have contacted drutyper and are investigating his "loan" proposal however we are still open to investment inquiries. We have not chosen or sealed any deals in stone yet. If anyone is interested in investing in a large scale mmo project, feel free to contact me by private message or comment directly here. Thank You.

@drutyper could you provide a website link to RFI Financial, or any information about you and your company that you 'represent'.

    Thanks,

@richard: Their loans do require collateral agreements.

We don't have a website since these are private investors who have a surplus of funds from different investments. We do every transaction through an escrow company here in Southern California. Most of our investors delve into commercial real estate, hedge funds, and venture capital. They want to invest they're money in large lucrative deals that people have the ability to pay back just like a mortgage loan. To be frank, my clients are very motivated and qualified individuals. We approve 5 out of 10 people who try to apply for these loans. But the benefit is that we do not ask for FICO scores and there is no pre-payment penalties. We loan to people that are qualified through they're financial background such as a 1099, tax returns and business capital but dont have the best or even no credit whatsoever.

Please let me know if you are looking for a loan or may need that much capital for a new business venture.

Thanks Andrew for more clarification on what you do. Just curious, as I am reletivly new to this, do you just do loans? Is Venture Capital where they take part % ownership in the company? And what do you look for in an application for a $1 - $5Million loan? What, to you, makes a business idea stand out and go "this could be truly -epic-? lol

    @ Richard,
Venture capital funds new business investments and takes equity in the company they help start. In our applications the clients would need to fill out a loan application called a 1003 form, tax returns, all income documents, business profit and loss statements, bank accounts, and anything to do with your finances of the last 3 years will need to be reviewed for qualifications. For a million dollar deal you would need to atleast make more than 210k a year, have that income for more than 1 year, have a business of your own or have an high income that is stated on your tax returns. Whats great about my investors is they will fund 99% of your deal. We have lowered the initial down-payment for a $1 million loan to only $10,000. And yes we only do loans.

Venture Capitalists aren't banks. So, that is untrue. However, you would have to give up company equity, or repay them in full eventually.

And guys, private investors are usually 'better' than public venture capitalist, FYI. Why? Well, they invest more than public.
