Looking for Capital $300 to $500

I currently run a social networking site here at Des Moines Localsbut its only for people in my local area. The way I'm trying to monetize this is by selling T-shirts via a spreadshirt shop to my friends and members on the site. Problem is people won't buy something they can't see in person. (at least not in my age group and in my area.)

I need capital to go buy a few shirts and show them around the neighborhood. I've been scheduled to be interviewed by a local radio station for my efforts with the site and the investor/partner would get some of the cut. for details pm or reply in this forum

That isn't that much capital. Have you tried borrowing it from family or using credit cards?

To be totally honest my credit isn't high enough to get a credit card and I've asked family/friends mutliple times. My mother is buying a new home and used all her money on the down payment and fixes on the house. I have partners, but they all worked at the same place as me which closed down about a month ago leaving us without a source of income. I've got a new job but the income barely covers my rent.

Thanks for the suggestions though!!

I can offer you a great deal on shirts if you want. That should help with the money situation.

Sell drugs for a week and you'll have 500 bucks.

If you want to get a higher credit limit, pay your card all the way off and call the company and get ti raised. If they don't, ask to be transfered to the retainment department and then start negations over. You should have a higher limit by the time you get off the phones.

You can always get one or two (relatively cheap as they're not in bulk) t-shirts from CafePress, and then show them to people. Then, once you get some money, you can buy them bulk from a printer like 2.95 Guys or Custom Ink
