I'm looking for some young bloggers to blog about any of the following topics:

• Auctions on eBay
• Best Deals on the net

Posts on a daily basis, but you can make extra posts to stock up and we will publish it only once a day!

I don't plan on making it a paid service at first, but will offer some free hosting incentives for your website at first.

This is to make sure that you are determined and make good posts, but I doubt you would do it for free. So I'm offering hosting just to see if you're posts are of good quality. If you are interested, send me a PM!

They keep advertising profits from one ad block on their spot and I would be doing a paid blogging service IF I see that they're not some random person on the forums looking for a quick buck.

Right now I think blogs have a lot of potential (don't ask me how, I started thinking of the idea 2 weeks ago) and been wanting to start a few, but I personally wouldn't have enough time to dedicate to them..

blogging networks are hot right now, following weblog inc's 20 mill exit

if you're gonna do these deals, just slip into a category so things make sense

again, what are you trying to get done? who are comparable, successful startups? if no successful comparables, what are you doing differently/what has changed?

akula, you don't miss a thing do you I usually keep to myself, but I'm not planning on competing with Weblogs Inc anytime soon.

These weblogs are simple independent blogs I would like to start in categories which seem to be taking off at the moment or which I believe are niche.

I think eBay Auctions is a niche which isn't that competitive..Best Deals on the other hand is something which could get some readers on the blog a bit easier though

I think the best way for blogs is for some sort of free/open publishing platform. I got some ideas though i doubt I will actually implement them.

The theory is that you become a social entrepreneur (it that is what its called), and develop a company to better the internet, instead of aiming for monetary gains. If you have that in mind, you will usually commit yourself to the blog/website alot more even if its not making a cent, and provide quality content instead of content you think will get you high CTRs.

Worse part is that the internet is just becoming a tool to make money, and people are losing sight of the bigger picture, which is to provide quality websites with quality content.

In my opinion, weblogs .inc is starting to move away from quality content (the new blogs they have started atleast) and towards getting as much clicks on their ads as possible.

hey, it just goes to show that if the idea is good 5 shops will be working on it, and if the idea is great, 55 shops are gonna be "at it"

besides, i'm doing a payperpost.com competitor, so i dunno nuthin'
