Looking for agents worldwide through Social Entrepreneurship

Hi
We are looking for agents to sell ad space on upwards of 300 pixel micro-advertising sites. Agents earn 50% commission on all sales.

All money raised from sales on the centre grids on all our sites will fund the purchase of bednets for kids at risk from malaria through our Pixels4Bednets campaign. All profits from the sale of banner ads will go to the same or other worthwhile causes after funding our admin fees.

Anyone can become an agent and sell space - so long as you have access to a computer.

If you run a website and simply want to become and affiliate we've catered for that too. The commission rates are 15%, with a further 15% from tier two affiliates you introduce.

Please take a look at our main site WorldWideNoticeboards for further details - or e-mail me direct at peter_culpin@hotmail.co.uk

Regards and success to you all
Mozzie

Thanks Scott

Entrepreneurs are, of course, by definition always optimistic.

I believe the instant gratification pixel site that Alex Tew started has had its day, very much like the dot com sites in the early days.
Only the ones based on tried and tested business formulas succeeded, and dot com companies have since taken much longer to achieve their goals.

Since you have voiced an opinion perhaps you might share with us your own achievements to date that qualify you to make such sweeping judgements.

Regards
Mozzie

I very much agree that people are not going to visit a site simply to look at advertising, and advertisers won't advertise unless there are hits - cause related marketing helps but it isn't enough in this cynical world we are in - people think you are crooks and you're going to pocket the money, which is why we are in league with Jeff Sachs - special advisor to Koffi Annan.
It was through a meeting with Jeff in london that the idea came about, and he is the one who has been there and knows the score. We didn't expect to make a fortune overnight with this - but the proportion of advertising done on the web at the moment compared with conventional advertising is very small. We are aiming at the little guy who hasn't the budget to advertise big time on the net and even if he did it would probably not help him sell widgets in Kent.
The average Joe knows very little about the internet and even less about advertising on it - so it is a market in its infancy. Directories don't work for these guys 'cos they get lost in the stream - and they can't get high ratings on Google for obvious reasons.

For instance I have recently been dealing with a firm of stonemasons. I saw there van parked outside their house in South Kensington and they had just finished laying a frontage in Portland Stone. It was superb in every way so I took their number down.

I rang them to ask them to do work for me - and asked if they had a website - the guy had to dig out his letterheading to tell me the website address. That's how archaic they are - really old fashioned tradesmen.

Here's the interesting bit - when I checked out their website it turns out they have the Royal warrant and are responsible for all the stonework renovations and rebuilds at Buckingham Palace not to mention the stonework in the squares around London. Million pound projects. But they were still doing a small house frontage in South Kensington.

Now, how many people who want that level of workmanship know about that company - not many - and that's what WorldWideNoticeboards is all about - recommendations of companies who provide an excellent service - and those companies today are getting rarer - most people after all choose a company first by personal recommendation.

No one ever gets a business right first time - most people, though, give up long before they've turned that final corner called success - and they never ever know what it 'would' have been like.

There are far more opportunities out there than there are people who will make them successful.

Hey mozzie,

I checked out the site and its quite nice but I just have 1 question at the top of the page you say:

Since pixel micro-advertising first hit the Web in August of 2005 it has become one of the most successful forms of advertising on the Internet."

How can you say its been so succesful, who goes to a site to see hundreds of different adverts staring at them in the face. Its like looking into the yellow pages or something. Im not knocking your site or anything just wondering how you can make this statemnet.

I take your point.

The statement was made on the basis that the return on the investment was high - not the total response.

In other words the guys that did advertise got a very good return for their investment in the short term, far better than other forms of conventional advertising.

What we want to do is make it successful long term.

We are constantly improving and changing the sites and if that statement seems now to no longer be true I will review what we say.

Thanks
