Lightbulb Looking for a web developer to partner with

Hi

I’m looking for a website developer to partner with to build a new kind of social media website. I’m not going to claim that this will change the face of social media, because to be quite honest that’s a load of bllocks and I don’t have the hundreds of millions of pounds it would take!

My idea combines elements of a variety of social media platforms into one resource for the first time entrepreneur niche market. We’ve been looking at the market and there are a lot of good, bad and just plain ugly entrepreneur serving websites so we’re going to learn from what they do, avoid cloning Facebook or LinkedIn and use our experiences as young first time entrepreneurs to shape a website that will provide our users with useful video content, written content, resources, networking opportunities and a profile, but combine this with solid revenue streams.

At the moment there are two of us working on this idea, we’re both extremely well versed with social media, have good networks and are making headway with contacts for this new website. The only, rather larger, problem is that neither of us are web developers.

We’re looking for someone that could successfully build a social media website.

We’re based in London, so ideally we’d be able to find a partner who is close by so we can meet and brainstorm and what not! But if the right person isn’t it doesn’t matter.

Any ideas or comments or volunteers are welcome. If anyone is interested in the project, mail me and I can send you some more details over.
