ISMAEL RECORDS an independent recording marketing and promotions label has just signed one of the marketing and promotions executives of MICHAEL JACKSONS, THRILLER, BAD and OFF THE WALL albums as its new president of marketing and promotions. ALICIA KEYS, SADE, TYRESE, LUTHER VANDROSS, are only some of the few other national recording artist who has also had their cds marketed and recorded by our high powered executive. we now wish to embark on an AMERICAN IDOL TYPE cross country national talent search. our winners will get their own cd marketed and promoted personally by our new executive plus get radio airplay and national distribution of their very own cd. any partner/funder will receive across the board percentages from each paid venue we play across the country plus a percentage of all of our winners cd sales. please no offeres of bank loans or any other financial return pay back intrest offers. only the above percentages will be placed on the table. we seek no less than $25,000 in order to come out of the starting gate with this project.

I see a few of these things on forums, which is not really the way to do it. Simply because there's no one on forums who will be interested to put money in you, due your the risk nature of your business.

What experienced "executives" do to raise funds for their production properties, is this; they incorporate their property, for example, if it's a motion picture, you simply incorporate that one particular motion picture itself as the company, LLC, draft up a solid business plan and PPM, and then sell shares in your company (production) to qualified investors.

But to do so, you must first register your LLC and shares with the SEC by filing the Regulation D form, and you can have someone like some companies such as Incredia Capital to prepare and register your PPM with the SEC. But if you choose to seek startup capital on these forums, you can try but I seriously not sure if you will find any.

thank you for your advice, it seems this fourm has the incorrect name tittle. it seems that no one really ever receives or gets any partnership/funding but instead only receives advice, very good advice yes but simply still only advice. maybe this fourm should change its name to the good advice fourm. has anyone in this fourm ever received a real partnership?

ISMAEL, the name of this great web site is; YoungEntrepreneur, not YoungPartnership. Even if this forum or any other forums out there, one like you, pitching your idea the way you doing it, will hardly get anyone, seriously take you serious, let alone invest money in your project. The best about this site is that you come on here and interact with other great minds, ask questions, answer questions, get advice, give advice, and then build up a relationship with other members on the forums. Credibility is everything. Once you build up a relationship with other members, then you have a greater chance of lining up partnership or sell your products to anyone. You can't just walk in the bar and start asking them to invest in you, when no one knows jack about you.

it also says capital/biz partners. maybe you should simply let the people posting on the site try to get what your site offers capital/biz partners. let the people at the party enjoy the party also and try not to be in every picture taken even though its your party.

Wow dude, he's trying to give you some solid advice. Absolutely no one in the world except for some foolish person would ever invest that kind of money in your venture. And then by reacting the way you did and telling a highly respected member of the forum that he is basically wrong and should butt out is definitely not a way to get any investors on this forum.

I am sure that alot of people have formed partnerships through this forum but if you are a true entrepreneur you are willing to get some advice.
