I am interested in marketing someones website and potentially become a partner. I am currently working on a website but it is still very much in development and no where near close to its release. I am extremely passionate about marketing though and would like to gain some experience while helping out someone from this community.

Im into marketing to since its what I went to school for. It really is one of the biggest keys to everything business and website related. If you don't market correctly then you won't get any traffic ( or the wrong kind of traffic) and in return your site won't perform well. I would be willing to help with any marketing ideas as well.

Here are some ideas for doing that — on the cheap.

1.
Take steps to make customers feel special. Customers respond to being recognized, especially in these rush-rush, get-the-lowest-price times. "Even with a Web-based business, good customer service is possible,"

Create business cards that prospects keep. Most business cards are tossed within hours of a meeting. Instead of having your card tossed, create one that recipients actually will use — say, a good-looking notepad with your contact info and tagline on every page. "The business card notepad is referred to almost daily, kept for 30 days or so and carries a high remembrance factor," says Elliott Black, a Northbrook, Ill., marketing consultant who specializes in small businesses.

For a new started business and social networking website I need business or JV partners. Who does what, sales opportunities, details and kind of partnership can be discussed.

This website lets members search into member directory, members can publish their business services, can write business blog pages. Additonal they get mini websites to promote their business online, including own web subaddress and backlinks, own meta tags for a successful online promotion. Members can place their own ads on their member mini websites, or can work with an ads provider to get a bit money. As a well promoted business networking website gets commonly member fees and some earnings by advertising that should be a profitable website after first time.

For this new project I'm looking for business partners, JV partners, affiliates etc:

Marketing partner, especially with online marketing experience
Business and social networking experienced people to grow the network
Search Engine Optimization, to get a good web presence and traffic
Writers, moderators, affiliates

This is a greater project and it's ideal for somebody, who would establish and grow something, who would establish a successfully and profitable part.
