i need 15k to start project, 25k returned in 8 months.
Hey guys, I know theres a ton of people on here looking for backing, but I can offer a quick return of no longer then 8 months and a $10k profit.
I dont want to go into too much detail of my plan here due to a few other members here that are in my competing market getting wind of it, it must stay under raps.
but if your interested i would ask that you PM me.
I have invested $16k of my own money, and i have another $15k to invest.
Im only needing another $15k to get started and i will return $25k
so if your interested please let me know, ill send you my business plan and prospectus.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Thank you for your interest.

uh......wut? do you understand how an investment works? im not looking for charity. i offered a $25k return which means the lender makes $10,000 profit/interest for sitting on $15k for 6-8 months.

No need for that champ!
Sounds like you don't have th 15K in the first place...
ha.. must admit though.. you username "blackmarket" sets alarm bells ringing. But all the best!
Have you also looked at Prosper? Maybe PartnerUp ?

I may be a bit anal-retentive when it comes to spelling and grammar, but I really believe that if you'd like someone to invest any amount of money in you or your business, you could do a little better than "i", "your" (you're was the correct usage), "Im", "ill" (I assume "I'll", not a sickness). I don't think it is much to ask that when trying to act professional, you also try to look professional.
I have no problem with a lot of the ranting and rambling posts at YE that do not observe those standards, and I understand that not everyone is fluent in English, but you are specifically requesting something from others.
Just my take on it. I will not invest in a business that is represented as sloppy in the earliest proposal stages (or any stage).

Its a forum upon which you are making a semi-formal request for investment. When someone asks me for money, I can immediately make a few assumptions about the person just by the request.
When approaching potential investors, your presentation is very important. Quite frankly, your presentation failed miserably. Had your presentation been top quality, it wouldn't have mattered anyway. You are not going to get any money here. There are not investors with 15K laying around lurking these forums. The majority of people here are entrepreneurs, would-be entrepreneurs and a bunch of spamming trolls. The entrepreneurs have their money tied up in their own investments, the would-be entrepreneurs want to steal your idea by pretending that they are interested and getting you to send your business plan to them and the trolls, well, they just troll. This is a place for ideas and advice.
I've seen hundreds of posts like yours and nobody ever got anything. I would go somewhere else to seek your funding.

well i think ill take your advice, this forum has been the most unsupportive, negative and least knowledgable group of people ive encountered. rather then options or advice you give negative opinion and criticism.
this only goes for about 90% of people here.
some are quite knowledgable and helpful such as Akula and a few others ive spoke with but for the mass its true.
ive gone this far on my own, im sure i can get the other 15k.
thanks.
