well I think that might be the best option then. I haven't heard anything but negativity (except from ceo7 and jmeq) since I started posting earlier today. You're welcome for the hundred some impressions and 2 clicks I gave you!

duval, this board is here to help you and if you need money, just get a job, save some cash , get a credit card, find a buddy who'll chip in, take a prepayment from a customer, clock a bit of trade credit from a supplier and you done! that's more effective than this e-begging nonsense that you're doing

"Don't be afraid of investors. Don't be afraid of failure.
An entrepreneur has to be a friend of failure, since the worst that could happen to you is to gain experience for next venture..."
they would say that in my Business Entrepreneur classes at college.
So give it a try. Either raise money, or do reasearch about finding out how to find an investor. Or instead of getting an investor get a work partner that will work free for you in exchange of shares. Make this your first project of many more to come.

For some reason I agree with this fellow named akula. Seeking this amount of $$ in this form does seem petty to me. If I were rich and had $1.00...I probably would not donate it to you. Based on your responces, they make me think your in a hurry, didn't plan ahead and now you are so desperate for $$.? This is actually the first time I've laughed today.

nice! well at least something good came from this post
and read my other threads, the ones I posted after this, to find out why you should donate to me.... If you are in the US then you will benefit from my site in time, whether you use it yourself or not. I am actually trying to do something quite revolutionary here......
peace and love.

I think you should keep looking for an investor. Or, how about guaranteeing 2 dollars back. That would be something.

Seems to me that you are in to much of a rush. If you have a job like you said and can eventually save up $10000-$20000 then do so and be patient. While you're being patient spend that time planning and studying and refining your idea. That way when you do have the capital you'll be more prepared than you already are.
That's basically what I'm doing and I've learned/accomplished a lot so far by taking my time and going through every step throughly. One other thing is that it seems like you haven't really planned the business funding to much. Not wanting to take the initiative to get serious funding strikes me the wrong way.
"When there's a will there's a way" and it seems like you don't have the will to properly get funding. You would rather have random people give you chump change without you doing any effort. Just my two cents though don't take anything personally it's just the message I perceive from what you're saying.

It's so satisfying when you can get the money to fund your own projects. I know that when I first started out. I was not as bad as you are here but I wanted things moving last week, as I felt that this idea wouldn't be here the next week.
Here is an idea that you can take to the bank. Hone your business plan and add doing side work such as sales pages, ebook creation, web design, etc. Set aside an account that is JUST for the funds raised. Take on two-five jobs a week. Make sure you have samples and testimonials. Give it 6 weeks and I bet you'll be raking the dough in faster than you'll believe.
So many people think they can just go ask investors for $xx,xxx amount and that it will be given. Doesn't work that way, you have to sell that dream and passion. You also have to show that the numbers work. Every investor who is smart with mony wants cold hard numbers that are on paper.

Begging gets you no where!
You should get a job and stop asking people for money.
