Health Product - Looking for Partner/Investors [California]

Hello, I am planning on starting a health product line and have a few products in mind. I am currently looking for a business partner who know how to manage a business. The products I look for are things that people have never seen before and are usually new to the market. I am looking for someone in So. Cal near Los Angeles hopefully. If anybody is interested, please feel free to send me a message. Thanks for looking!

To answer your question, I have already found 3 (ya, only 3) products that I am interested in selling. Each product has enough different models to fill the shelves. Although I may only end up selling two of the three product (due to legal reasons) I feel that there is a great market out there for a new and innovative product out there.

One of the product is a heat pack which can be reused and is useful in different situations. It can be a hand warmer, sooth pain, or even be used as a baby bottle warmer on the go. The link is for a competitor's site but the product itself is similar. The chemicals inside is non-toxic and the heat pack is reusable.

For the second product, I am thinking of an low frequency massager. This product can also be used to sooth pain on the back, legs, shoulders, etc and also even be used for weight loss. Competitor's site below
    magictouchpro dot com

For both products, I was able to find suppliers and even have OEM service on large orders, meaning my own logo and printing. I have tried both products out but feel that there is a large market still out there for products lke these. For any more questions, feel free to ask.

heat packs and massagers are not really new items, though these seem to have improvements. (though a massager used for weight loss sounds kind of like snake oil)

As someone who is already in the health and wellness business (with over 350 products of which many are patented and all are scientifically tested) I can tell you that you are really going to need to figure out what makes your products superior and if those improvements do infact make the product more desirable and to whom and for what reason.

Feel free to message me if you need help. I have many years of marketing background

Thanks for you input! I have been living in SoCal all my life and this is the first time I have ever seen these products and I have tried them both. Although they may not be the best product to sell, I feel the people (customers) will find use for a heat pack that is reusable. Even if this means that it is not for their personal health, they can have these ready in the morning to take with them to work, fishing, camping, football games, etc.

As for the massager, I understand that there are many different types of massagers out there but when I used this product, it was a whole new experience for me. It was not one of those traditional vibrating massager but one that sends an electrical pulse to stimulate your muscles.

Both products may not be entirely new to the market but as of where I live and what I have seen, it is new. As long as the product is something that people have never seen before, I am pretty certain that it will attract people's attention.

Lastly, I was in the E-Cigarette market (sold many) but now they are a little tricky with the law so I am holding off on that until things straighten out. I am hoping that I can slowly expand my business by researching what products people are looking for but my main idea is that a new and interesting product will be sure to sell itself.

Sounds like you may have a market for them in your local area.
Perhaps it's just because I'm a therapist that I've seen so many products like them.

Thanks for your reply! The only problem I face with the two (possibly three) products is that I am not sure whether to have a store or to have a chance at it at a mall cart. Mall cart in my area can cost up to 1700$ a month while a lease for a store front can be around $300~$600 for a cheap one. Any ideas on what I should do?

what would be the best way to bring customers into a store? I don't know if people will just come into a store wondering what products I sell. What would be a great way to advertise my store with certain products I want to push?

keep your store and products web based as to not limit your market. There are many product launch managers that can help develop internet campaigns.

I think I'm going with the internet market as well but how would you market a product to the internet? How would you bring in customers in such a challenging marketplace? How will I be able to boost search result? Many questions... Any help would be great!

Since your products are health related I'd try talking to some chiropractors, physical therapist or nurses- you know, get the word out in your local area, if you do in fact want to keep it local
