I am part of a website that is collecting 90 second video-pitches for a competition. These video-pitches will be reviewed by VCs and the top entrepreneurs will get to come to San Francisco and pitch their billion-dollar idea. The winning video pitch will get a chance to receive funding and mentorship. The deadline to submit the video is February 26th. You can email me your videos with you info at lisserman@yahoo.com. Anyone can participate. We encourage students - high school, college, graduate - to entrepreneurs and inventors from around the world to anyone with an idea, really.



These video pitches will be publicly posted on the internet.



Here are some sample guidelines



· Be original

· Demonstrate your value proposition

· Make it fun and entertaining

· Explain the market size/opportunity

· Avoid interview style presentations (boring!)

· Tell us what keeps you up at night

· Why are you better than your rivals? (And don't say you don't have any!)

· What was the original need that sparked the idea for your start-up?

· How does your role as a start-up entrepreneur impact your life?

· What have you sacrificed for your start-up?

· What if it fails?
