Hello everyone here at YE,

I have just signed up for an account, although I have been a frequent on and off browser of the site. I wanted to sign up as I want to take my eBay drop off center business to the next level.

I am not going to exploit all of the details of the company, Standout Auctions, in this thread, however I will go into some of the details.

Essentially, I started the company almost one year ago and the whole concept is, is to receive other individuals goods which they no longer need or want, or simply wish to get a tasty dollar for and to sell them on eBay for them professionally. Standout Auctions takes care of all the work, many people don't have an eBay account (especially a "seller's account"), don't have time to list auctions, don't have the knowledge to list auctions, don't have the reputation to get the best offer for their items and so forth.

That is where we come in, we take care of the entire process of selling an item on eBay for them from start to finish, and once their item sells we send them a check for the selling price less our commission.

I am posting this thread to network with a plethora of unique individuals nationally, even globally whom would call themselves veteran eBay users, more importantly sellers. If you are interested in partnering with Standout Auctions, to incorporate your location with the business we can do so, in fact we can start you up in less than a month, this is basically a franchise, but it would simply be all company owned, and you would get a position in the company with a percent of ownership.

Sorry but I am not here to answer small questions on the industry, I am here to locate and initiate relationships with other young entrepreneurs who are experienced with selling on eBay.

standoutauctions, you're trying to initiate relationships here. you need to change your attitude or no one would want to work with you. how difficult is it to answer a question? if you want others to work with you, you should show them that you are knowledgeable about the market.

There are two giant franchises which already control the industry, both of which are in the Entreprenueur magazine top 500 franchises (I think one of them is near the top). Doesn't seem like much room for a little guy. Plus the line "in fact we can start you up in less than a month" sounds very shady... don't know what kind of retail business is able to be opened within a month.
